It is a little small compared to the load of clothes I can washer within the matching washer but it does the job it is supposed to do. I do like the chimes it plays when you start it up and when the the cycle finishes.

Drum stopped working

After only a year and a half, this dryer's drum stopped working (as far as I can tell right now). I unfortunately thought "oh, nothing will happen to it." I DIDN'T get a protection plan, how about that? I spent a good $400/$500 on this piece of junk and there's no proper help? ONLY A YEAR WARRANTY, really? Now, I'm left with a dryer that isn't working and I have to order service to get it repaired through the manufacturer. DO NOT BUY. Also, at the time of delivery and install, the person from best buy that installed the dryer did a TERRIBLE job connecting our vent. When I checked back there its all smashed up! I don't know if this is what eventually caused our issue or not (the technician told us he had some trouble with the vent at the time of installation, but didn't realize it was that bad). Whatever. I'm sure we won't get any help, other than having to spend an entire paycheck repairing/replacing this whole thing.

Delivery people were very unprofessional! Smoking in my doorway. Didn't hook up the dryer. When they left, I washed a load of clothes and found out the dryer didn't work. It's been over a month and bestbuy still hasn't given me my money back! All I get is the run around! Plus they won't let me speak to a supervisor at corporate about this. All I get are promises that people will call back and they don't. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!

I got a fantastic deal on this dryer, so overall I'm satisfied. It takes some experimenting to figure out which cycles will work best for which load. The cycles are preset but you can make small adjustments. The reason I only give it 2 stars is that there is no way to turn off the signal, and the little song goes on forever! It's fine if I'm doing laundry during the day but it's inconvenient if I want to dry a load at bedtime.

Bought this item with a 3 year Geek Squad warranty and it
started to give me issues after 3 and 1/2 years and the coverage had expired! Gasket seal on the door started to fall apart and now it squeaks like a banshee from time to time. Manufacturers warranty is just 1 year parts and labor and 2 years on the control board.
Has annoying musical chimes on startup and shutdown.
Best Buy should offer extensions or renewals on their Geek squad coverage. Disappointed!

The only reason I only give 3 stars is because it doesn't remember your last setting it dries good but the automatic stuff leaves your clothes a little too damp for my liking.

Please make to the dryer is not in ECO DRY mode, as this setting will reduce the power consumption of certain other cycles but will extend the length of the cycle, potentially up to 3 times as long. Eco Dry is on by default on Normal and Time Dry cycles for models with the feature.

Have had nothing but issues with this dryer. At 10 months the thermostat quit which was under warranty so, fine. 3 months later, same thing. This year the pulley has broken twice and now, just today it shuts off after 5 minutes, probably a sensor issue. I hate this thing. It's only 5 years old. It replaced a 20 year old Amana that never needed a repair and just died of old age. Going back to a basic, heavy duty dryer; forget all this digital crap; it's not worth the aggravation.

Does a good job of drying clothes (as we expected). It was pretty quiet when we 1st started using it but 1 month later all of a sudden it got obnoxiously loud, like something is grinding. So typical, buy something new and keep your fingers crossed as to how long it will work before something happens. Time to call customer service.
