Bought this as an emergency replacement and wasn't sure what to expect with the price being so low. I have been pleasantly surprised. I love that it has a sensor for drying just long enough. This was an absolute requirement for me and I have not been disappointed.

Works well, though clothes seem a bit damp at the end of the cycle, so a bit more time is needed. Also there is no light inside. Not a big problem, but should be noted. Overall, a good value.

The dryer ran pretty ok for 2.5 years. We had some noise at one point, and a couple minor issues, but overall everything ran just fine. The issue was that 2 weeks ago the entire thing stopped heating during any cycles. I ordered OEM parts because there's only a 1-year warranty on the product, and replaced the thermostat, heating coil, and thermal fuse. After about 10 minutes of heat, it stopped again. I've heard from several people that I shouldn't have bought a Samsung dryer in the first place, it would've been nice to know that ahead of time. Definitely doesn't have the longevity of other products out there, less than 3 years is unacceptable for such an investment.

We exchanged a new Whirlpool dryer for this model to match our washer. Fast and efficient. Great price.

We purchased this dryer about 4 years ago. We have had to replace fuses and heating elements in at least twice a year for the past 3 years. I do not recommend this dryer. When it works, it’s great but we have to repair it about every 5-6 months.

Samsung can do a little better on the quietness of their designs, but overall it dries well.

I got this dryer in December 2015. From the beginning, we had some problems with the sensor, so we ALWAYS used the time dry instead of any of the more clever features, even after calling Samsung for guidance. Still, that was okay. What's awful is that a year and some into owning the machine, it just stopped working right when we were trying to get everything ready for our first kid. After a year, there's no more warranty on parts or labor - the only thing they will fix is the control board and only by providing the part, not the service. There's no reason for something that costs hundreds of dollars to break after less than 2 years. I'm incredibly disappointed and probably will avoid buying Samsung again.

The dryer works great but is loud in general and the chimes are very annoying and for some reason can not be turned off on this model. I would recommend buying something else

Samsung's dryer best and value for money, affordable

Dryer delivered on Saturday and by Wednesday the unit quit working. Seamed to have no power, called Samsung, was sent a repair Technician on Tuesday, order timer, left. Came back on Friday realized ordered wrong part ordered power board, left. Came back the next Saturday to install part realized wiring harness was the problem. Technician said to contact Samsung to see about a replacement. Three weeks without a working dryer, I have no patience left. I will not be getting another Samsung Dryer after this mess. Very dissappointed.
