Solid dryer, does the job well. Auto dry actually works for me, didn’t on my last one.

I regret this purchase. It is the worst dryer we have ever used. It’s sensor controls continually shut the dryer off while the load is still very moist. We have given up on all of the sensor drying modes & only used timed drying. However, even the timed setting when set for a hour, will shut off after 5 minutes randomly. The timed setting should keep going regardless if items are dry or not. It usually takes 2-3 full cycles of high heat, timed drying (that doesn’t cut off before cycle ends) to get each load dry. We have purchased used dryers on craigslist that were 200 times better. We were excited to get the newer technology Samsung dryer and really did try to give it the benefit of the doubt. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but after such a disappointing experience, I have decided to post. I just don’t want anyone else to have to waste their money and time like we have.

Laundry in my house is a never ending mountain. With our family of four we end up doing at least 2 loads of laundry a day, sometimes more on the weekend, so when it came time to replacing our dryer we knew we needed one that was up to the task. I am a big fan of the size of the dryer. Samsung has done a great job in offering a lot of space in a more compact design. With the dryer specifically, they tend to tick fairly far out from the wall typically almost blocking the entry way due to the connection to the vent. The Samsung dryer is slightly taller and skinnier giving it a more elegant look and making it not look out of place in our laundry room. The design also provides more cubic space for clothes. The noise level for the dryer is also great because in essence, it is non-existent. You can start drying the clothes and expect not to hear from your dryer again until the clothes are done. The dryer offers several great settings and an easy to use control system that makes getting our clothes dry and fluffy every time simple and easy. The lint capture is a new design for me, but I find it to be significantly cleaner and easier to manage than the typical screen. So far, we have not had any issues with some of our clothes not being fully dry when the load is done, which is amazing. While it is not a deal breaker, I was under the impression that the dryer could be set up with the Samsung Smartthings App, but instead you have to download the Samsung Washer App and even there it is limited functionality. After spending a while on the phone with Samsung, so far we have not been able to actually connect the dryer, but can use the diagnostic tool. At this point, we don't have any problems for me to verify that that service is working, but it appears to be. It would have been nice to be able to start the laundry remotely on my way home, but the more likely scenario is that you move the clothes and turn the dryer on, so I guess it may be more of a novelty and it doesn't take away from how much more convenient this dryer is for an active and busy family.

This dryer does exactly what it promises — dries fast, runs quiet, and doesn’t fry your clothes. I’ve been using the Samsung 7.2 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry for a few months now, and it’s been a total upgrade to my laundry routine. The Sensor Dry technology is a standout feature—it automatically adjusts drying time and temperature, so my clothes come out perfectly dry without overheating or shrinking. No more guesswork! The 7.2 cu. ft. capacity is generous enough to handle bulky loads like comforters and towels with ease, which means fewer loads and more free time. I also love the 8 preset drying cycles—from delicates to heavy-duty, there’s a setting for everything. It’s intuitive to use, even without the manual. Another bonus? It’s quiet. I can run it at night without it disturbing the household. The reversible door is a thoughtful touch too, especially for tight laundry spaces. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the lack of an interior drum light makes it a bit tricky to spot smaller items, especially darker clothes. This washer & dryer combo is perfect for my apartment and worth every penny. I did some research before purchasing these units and all of the reviews had good things to say. After my first wash & dry, I see why. The washer machine is really quiet and gets your clothes clean in the first wash. I love that it's deep enough for my comforter sets and pillows. You can pack quite a few items in both the washer & dryer. Both units are easy to use. No instructions needed. The dryer works perfectly with heavy blankets. Just set the timer and go. I also like that both units provide a singing option to let you know when your clothes are ready. I highly recommend both units.

I'm giving Peter and Jeremy 5 stars for a quick, professional delivery and installation job! Washer and Dryer are working great, thank you very much! Also 5 STARS to Best Buy for some great financing options, that's why I usually get my Appliances and Computers there. 18 months at 0% interest is great! Now to the actual scheduling of the installation appointment.... I will have to give Best Buy 1 Star for not scheduling the appointment AS AGREED upon. On the day I purchased the washer/dryer, I tried to get the installation done on my days off and they did not have that option open, even within a month (Maybe to they don't deliver/install on certain days?). So the floor guy who sold me the washer/dryer said the next available day for delivery/install would be Saturday between 7A and 7P. I said that will ONLY work if it could be between 7A and 12P that day, since I have to go to work at 1P on Saturday. He put in some Notes on my purchase order and said it wouldn't be a problem and they will do the delivery and installation between 7A and 12P on that Saturday. Being the extra cautious person I am (I like double confirming ALL important events) I physically went back to the store a few days before the delivery and installation were going to take place to CONFIRM the time again. The person at the counter said I was confirmed for 7A to 12P delivery/installation of my washer/dryer for the next Saturday (I believe it was Thursday when I went in to the Smokey Point Best Buy). On the Friday, the day before the delivery/installation I get an email confirming that the delivery and installation of the washer and dryer will be on Saturday, between the hours of 1:30P to 6:00P?!?!?! I called Best Buy told them I confirmed the Time twice!! The person on the phone said they couldn't change the time but they could cancel the delivery and reschedule!?!?! Anyway I called work said I may be late. The whole point when I purchased and confirmed TWICE the importance of the TIME was very not professional of Best Buy. If they had been up front with me about the correct time in the first place I would have set up a time and date that would have worked

This dryer was purchased to match the new Samsung washer we needed to replace. It might look similar to the old school one we had, but this dryer is a big upgrade over the last generation (8 years old) and basic dryer we replaced. One of the first things I prefer in this dryer is the placement of the lint screen in the front of the drum rather than the top of the unit. Might seem like a small thing, but it just makes everything a little neater and simpler. The other really nice thing about this dryer is that it is much more spacious than our old one, despite being slightly narrower, which improved the spacing in our laundry area. This dryer doesn't have any smart/network features, but the selection of settings allow a wide range of use. Furthermore, the "sensor dry" feature works quite well and has been a go to for many different items. The display is easy to read and I really like the digital count down timer. The fact that the alert tone is a kind of midi music-song is a nice change from the obnoxious buzzer we used to have. So far since we have had this dryer is has performed well, runs quietly (for a dryer) has been a great upgrade over our old unit.

I'll start with what I love the most about this drier, and that is the auto sensor. It knows when my clothes are dry. I set it too auto and leave. I come back and my clothes are dried to the level I had set them to. I stick my head in the drier and look for the sensors, I don't see any lol . How it knows, I have no idea but it fascinates me that it can distinguish between very / more / normal and damp. And it so quick, 45 minutes (my old drier sometimes took upto two hours) for an average size load. And unlike my old drier that had that old buzzer sound that went Bzzzzzzz, this Samsung electric drier plays a cute musical tune to let you know that your clothes are ready. Now if drier could only fold the clothes..... Maybe the next model I purchase from Samsung in a decade or so will have that feature. The photo below are the family refusing to fold and from delivery day.

Wonderful dryer. Reasonably priced. Lots of room for tumbling towels and sheets. Very easy to use. Installation crew was great. Best Buy is definitely the place to purchase all your appliance needs.

I love my new Samsung dryer. It drys quickly, it took me a few minutes to learn how to use it but its easy once you know how. The only thing i don't like about it is the inside is dark and you have to make sure everything is out.

This was the companion to the great Samsung Washer I purchased. This is a great dryer and a perfect complement to the Washer I purchased at the same time. The capacity is fantastic, ease of operation simple and straightforward, and noticeably quiet. I believe I made the right choice compared to other washers on the market.

I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer set that works like a charm and fits my laundry area perfectly. I opted for the washer install package with parts. The first delivery did not go too well because it was determined that 2 of the numbers in my address were flipped so the first crew told me that could not deliver and I had to reschedule the install. The second crew that came a week later was great. I’ve been using the units for the past 2 weeks now and I can’t complain. My clothes are clean, the units are sleek, and they don’t make a lot of noice while running which is nice because I work from home and have opted to wash a load or two mid day. The washer can hold a nice amount of clothes and everything gets clean. The spin cycle is great and effectively gets just about 95% of all the water from my clothes which helps to ensure my dry time will be greatly reduced so I’m able to do more loads in a shorter span of time. Both the washer and dryer are really easy to use in my opinion but the star is the washer. All in all I would give the washer and dryer unit and the install service a 10 out of 10!!

Dryer has large capacity, even for larger items such as blankets/comforters. Dries very quickly with many convenient settings - easy to understand & use

After using a 'standard' dryer for so long, I am still familiarizing myself with the nuances of this one. It fits our needs. A few things that were not as pleasing to me are: no light when the dryer is open, no printed instruction manual, the fact that we are charged for a dryer cord. Not having a light inside the dark dryer isnit helpful for my laundry area. It is already difficult to see inside the dryer because of the lighting in my laundry room and not having a light inside the dryer does not make it any easier. I prefer a printed owners/instruction manual rather than scanning a QR code to take me to a website to find it. It would be fantastic if a manufacturer/company would include the dryer cord, free of charge! Overall, I am pleased with this necessary investment.

Have had the electric dryer for about one month. Seems to dry the clothes as it should. Doesn’t make a lot of noise happy so far
