I would not buy this drier again nor recommend it to others.

Just ok dryer

I turn it on again and it doesn't go very long and turns off. I now turn on the timed dry to get them nice and dry.

Shocking Itself

Purchased to replace another one that only worked for four years. Now this one makes a noise that no one can figure out - like it is being shocked by someone after they walked across carpet in the winter. Still waiting for it to be resolved.

Need to use high setting on timed switch. Not the best at catching lint. This was our second purchase of this model. Our earlier version was much better.

Bad dryer

Broke after 2 months and Samsung won’t help

I bought this dryer in March 2024. 2 months later, the heating element burns out. It is now 2 months again and there is no heat once again. The first time I had this issue, things were perfectly fine with contacting Samsung. This second time has been a complete nightmare. I’ve been constantly pushed to the side with things like “we’ll contact you in 24-48 hours,” “you already have a ticket, there’s nothing I can do.” I’ve now been a week without a dryer and there’s no sign of it being fixed anytime soon. Terrible dryer, terrible customer service. Your best bet is to just look at other brands.

I literally have to use a flashlight to see if any socks are in the back of the dryer.

You cannot see inside it and, at times, may need to use a flashlight to see the contents. Very surprised by this. The salesperson conveniently did not mention this.

We were disappointed to see the manufactures warranty was only one year. We feel like we wasted $600. Would I recommend? Probably not, now that it stopped working just over a year after purchasing. Really disappointed.
