I had a Samsung before, but my choices were more limited during covid, so this one is a step or 2 down. The dampness sensor thinks my clothes are dry (they are not). So everything is a timed dry and takes at least the max. There are only 4 preset choices for timed dry (rather than allowing me to set a time). It's adequate, but I would not recommend.

Thank you for letting us know about the status of your Samsung Appliance. We are saddened that this didn't live up to your expectations, as your clothes come out damp and don't dry properly. This is not the experience we want you to have.
Please ensure the dryer is not in ECO DRY mode, as this setting will reduce the power consumption of certain other cycles but will extend the length of the cycle, potentially up to 3 times as long. Depending on the load size and temperature setting. One of the ways it does this is by beginning the cycle without using heat. Eco Dry is on by default on Normal and Time Dry cycles for models with the feature. Please click the link below.
