crap
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this 11/14/16. It's been screeching for a few weeks now. The sensor for being dry isn't accurate. Things are usually still wet. I would expect it to last longer than this. My old one was a lot older. I didn't want to buy a Samsung. This is Robert's wife, Elizabeth writing this review. I told him Samsung had a lot of problems and didn't want it. The salesman said no, they are good. The only problem they had was people putting large blankets in it that it wasn't meant for. He talked my husband into buying this piece of crap. I was furious. First the sensor of it being dry didn't work so I got used to when it went off as done checking, cleaning the filter and put it on timer for another 20 minutes to get them actually dry. Now this crap with the screeching sound. I don't know if it's worth fixing or I should just go somewhere else and buy something else. I don't trust the Best Buy sales people. I always had better luck with Home Depot. They would actually tell me when I asked for a certain item if they didn't think it was good or not. Then they did not try and get me to pay more money for something else. We don't have the money to throw around for things like this. I will call a repair person to see how much it is to fix. ONLY ONE TIME! If it costs too much then I will buy something else. If not too much I will give it one more chance. Hopefully the drum isn't cracked like I've been reading online because of cheap metal they use. A class action lawsuit it filed against them by other unhappy customers. Samsung has lost me as ever buying anything they make again and I will be redoing my kitchen soon.

Burn your money instead

Their delivery people were supposed to arrive at 10am I had to call and see what the delay was when I had heard nothing by 12pm. Mind you I took off work for this. They showed up at 5pm then couldn’t install the dryer properly. After dealing with terrible customer service I finally got it properly installed days later. Now here is the best part. Exactly 2 years to the day the machine was purchased it is DEAD. The dryer motor is shot. Samsung customer service says they can’t do anything. After reading theses reviews I see this is a common problem of these machines just destructing. Seems like we have a case for a class action. Samsung makes these products last just till they are out of warranty. Then you have to spend more money to fix it. I now have to take holiday money I had set aside for gifts and spend it to either fix this dryer or buy a new one. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product in my life. If there is

Worst Dryer ~ Worst Appliance Ever

LOUD screeching noises, metal on metal. Rollers need to be replaced. I held onto this dryer, for almost two years now, it's been serviced six times, costing me over $800 in total service calls. I am finally just getting a new dryer. It never fully dried a load. And there is a song that plays at the end of a cycle, you cannot shut it off, and it is a LONG song of ringing bells. Worst appliance I ever bought, save yourself a world of headaches. :(

Began having problems in 6 months

This sound occurred regardless of the size of the load. We reached out to Samsung to use the warranty that is in place for the first year and nothing came of it. Now we are 3 months later and the dryer will not turn on.
