It does what it is supposed to do and I have not had any problems with it, until today. This dryer is only 6 months old and today it started making a squealing noise. Luckily I purchased the 3 year Geek Squad Protection plan for this item, and was able to schedule a repair right away with Geek Squad. Apparently there is a known issue with the idler which is causing the squealing noise and is an easy repair. Overall, I love this dryer and would definitely recommend it to a friend or family member.

Each time, Best Buy staff gave me different answers to my questions - most of them wrong. When I completed order, I was told dryer would be installed but I also had to buy special connectors. When dryer was delivered, there was no installation, only drop off. I had to install dryer myself and connectors were all wrong; had to buy new ones from Home Depot. Entire experience very frustrating - will never buy any appliance from Best Buy ever again!

Thank you for reaching out regarding your Samsung dryer not taking time to dry. On behalf of Samsung, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Regarding your concern, please ensure the dryer is not in ECO DRY mode, as this setting will reduce the power consumption of certain other cycles but will extend the length of the cycle, potentially up to 3 times as long. Depending on the load size and temperature setting. One of the ways it does this is by beginning the cycle without using heat. Eco Dry is on by default on Normal and Time Dry cycles for models with the feature. Please check the link below.
