I bought it as a companion to the washing machine which I do love. I thought that it would be as awesome as the washer; nope. It takes a long time to dry the clothes. With my old dryer I could throw a wrinkled shirt in to avoid ironing; can't do that with this dryer. The load capacity on the washer is a lot, but if you try to put the load from the washer into the dryer, it won't dry. It normally takes me about two hours to dry the towels. Ridiculous! I wish that I could return it, but I feel stuck with something I just don't like at all.

Congratulations on your new Samsung Dryer. I see that you are having some concerns and I would like to make sure you are getting the best performance from your machine. There are cycles that you can use to fluff a shirt up on high heat and that will be your manual settings. See link below:

A dozen features I don't need but no light inside the tumbler. Geez. Had I realized this, I never would have bought it. 2) Cannot turn off or turn down the volume on the sound it plays when it finishes a load, so no running the dryer at night time. The door is reversible, but during the purchase/installation process there is no opportunity to specify which way you need it to open.

New Samsung Dryer not working well
