Almost started a fire

There was a gas smell. We called local gas company and they confirmed gas leak. They shut the valve and ask us to call the installer ASAP. We called the geek squad and the scheduled a re-install. We got confirmation date/time frame on the phone by text. We waited all day and after 4 hrs delay called the BestBuy again and they said there was no appointment. We have all the email and text confirmations. We had to call local appliance business and they re-installed the item. It took 3 weeks total for before we could use the dryer.

Then, they took it back because I didn’t accept it and couldn’t deliver a new one until July 17th. Today the install was good for the most part except the vent was loose and I had to adjust it so the air would go out of the back correctly. Overall satisfied with geek squad, but definitely a 3 star rating on this overall purchase and installation.

The cycle done alert isn’t very loud and I can’t hear it upstairs. I have to dry everything on medium to high heat or it takes over two hours to dry.
