Less then 10 months and now it needs repair

Apparently not a new problem with Samsung dryers (google it). Now we will see how many hoops I need to jump through to get it fixed, Should have gone with Whirlpool

Samsung needs to stick with phones and tablets

5 years still going strong

2 YEARS IN (not OLD, not NEW)

If you go to literally ANY OTHER appliance retailer you will notice that the recommend percentage is in the 70's #############ONLY TAKE ON THIS MODEL IF YOU ARE WILLING TO DO THE EXTRA WORK, IF NOT THE LG WILL LAST LONGER THAN 2 YEARS AT A HIGHER PRICE This does have the potential to be a nice unit for more than 2 years... if you are handy enough and willing to take it apart and change the idler tensioner pulley, the belt itself, and the rollers for the tub. Since I was not about to go spend another 600 on one of these when mine was only 2 years old! I took the time and fought through the frustration of doing this work, be aware that there is some good videos out there on youtube for instructional content. The reason these go out so consistently is because Samsung had to cut corners when making these to be the only company making a steam dryer at this price point. Personally I wish they would just charge another 30 bucks and put sealed bearings where there should be. in the end it's up to you, I just felt obligated to let people know that this WILL, not TEND, to go bad in a somewhat short time 2-4 years, and you will not be able to get Samsung to fix it under any kind of manufacturer warranty
