I frequent my local Best Buy Store #18 about 2-3 x a month. Usually I'm there on a mission: last time my hubby lovingly reminded me to get in-find it-pay for it so we would be home in time for kickoff. A month later while at the store I spotted it; I dashed over to its location. Within seconds I was gazing at a Samsung - 7.4 Cu. Ft. 11-cycle Steam Electric Dryer; Part of the Washer/Dryer set. I know it's "just" an appliance but it sure is the most Magnificent and Aesthetically Pleasing Washer and Dryer Set I've ever seen. It's not like I use to go down to the river with a rock and washboard. But my old set was 25 yrs; kinda like a hand me down from Fred and Wilma Flintstone. The Dryer is very quiet and holds nearly 3 large loads of clothes with fast drying. And the Steam feature / anti-wrinkle are fantastic. To sum it up, this ingenious & resourceful dryer will save your clothes and money that previously went to the dry-cleaners. I love the little song that is played when clothes are dry. Instead of that loud BUZZ NOISE. I love my new dryer (and washer) my clothes are in better shape now that I have this amazing set. Like I said in the review summary: It is fancy and elegant, current and relevant. But NO worries...I figured it out without first reading the manuals. Which I did read just to take advantage of all the features offered by these amazing machines. Sale prices are great!...It makes me happy just to look at the design!

I upgraded my old 20 year of set of W/D and this so far has blown me away with the great features and how silent it is! I LOVE the see-through door and it was the best on the market for the price point. I bought it on a Memorial Day sale for like $300 off so with that it even sweetened the deal! The LED panel with the turn knob is so cool and it or the pair look great together! It can hold a lot of clothes!

Our old dryer was slowly going out. We made this buy with the washer also. I love the features it has. It has all the right features that a person would want. When it starts playing a tune at the end, that really did it for me. One will not go wrong on this buy.

I purchased this dryer as a set with the matching washer, because I needed more capacity. I had a little old Roper brand dryer that still worked, but I decided if I was getting a large capacity washer, I would probably need a dryer with capacity to match. It is like a huge cavern in there, compared to what I was used to! It drys very well (if you don't use the eco setting) if you do the clothes can still come out a little damp. It is nice to have the wrinkle release feature, as most of the time I can't get to the dryer right away when the cycle ends. And the cute little song at the end can be heard far enough away so that I know the clothes are done, but it's not so annoying as to be a problem. I love having a light to see inside too. My only concern is that the lint trap seems a little flimsy and I hope that it doesn't get broken. Overall seems to be a very nice dryer--with way more settings than I will probably ever need; I'm very happy with my purchase!

The dryer has nice features. The link catcher is not just a screen, but a pocket screen. You have to open it (like a book) to clean it... seems to be very efficient. Although this machine is smart, you will probably leave it on TIME DRYER and select 40 mins. It does the work. It is also very quiet.

The best part of this dryer is the sensor that shut off the dryer once the clothes are actually dry! It saves a lot of time because on older dryers the clothes would be dry but the cryer would run the entire cycle. On this dryer, the machine will shut off if the clothes are dry or add more time if it is needed. It pairs well with the washer. Easy to use. Nothing bad so far.

Have had both the washer and accompanying dryer for 2 months now. Both are quiet and have very large capacity. The notification sound is somewhat weird and quiet (can't hear it downstairs from my 2nd floor laundry room) but that's not enough to knock a star off.

Great dryer. Dries cloths easily and quickly. Fits a TON of stuff! Does not shrink your shirts! My only concern is the steam settings often get the clothing item pretty wet and I have to then dry the item for over 15 mins. Not sure if there is a way to adjust that.

Bought this washer and dryer for the new laundry room, was impressed with all the features, looks, capacity and the friendly chimes. At this price point, excellent value and we like it's performance. Negative: had to call for steamer parts and installation was weak.

We have had some hiccups with figuring out the steam function but now really like this function. With larger loads from the washer, sometimes they do not get dry if using eco dry. Overall capacity is awesome and would recommend.

beautiful appliances, well made and all the features you could ever want. Large capacity has cut down on amount of loads and dries excellent. Many settings but easy to use right out of the box

I've had a Samsung in the past, but it was a gas dryer, but this thing is awesome. It fits a ton of clothes in it. It's nice and quiet too. Only downside is that the end music is too long.

This dryer can dry whatever I throw in the massive washer, and it dries great! Took some adjusting learning how to use the buttons effectively on the dryer, but once I had it all figured out I was in love with it! I would highly recommend this dryer, fits everything, even the comforter with sheets and other items at the same time!

Our primary purpose behind purchasing this dryer was to match the washer, which we needed. Both are more quiet than any we've owned before. Unless we've got overalls, or something that would make a lot of noise, we can hardly hear this dryer operating. We would previously close the door to the laundry room so that we could eat in peace in the adjoining kitchen. Even the little song that is played at the end of the drying process is soft and quiet. That would be the one thing we would change, if possible, so that we could hear the 'song' when we're in the living room.

Found this item open box and was happy because it was the type we looked for. Great item so far and cannot be happier. Quiet and does a great job.

Very quiet, effecient, does a fantastic job with manu option for day to day cleaning

Brand new and only used once but so far it dries quickly, is easy to use, and has a steam function to help smooth out wrinkles. Have the Samsung 7000ew washer and this dryer has a few more functions that I love. Couldn't be happier. I always purchase at least a three year warranty from Best Buy just in case.

Awesome dryer, especially for an apartment not loud at all. Never leaves my clothing still damp and holds alot

Love this set. Works wonderful it is quick and quite and so easy to use. I would by it again.

Nothing to complain about with this dyer, except for one small difference. On "normal" sensor dry, this machine does not fully dry all the clothes. Jeans, towels, and larger items are still damp...the older samsung dryer we replaced this with dried everything, except blankets, correctly on sensor dry on normal. Just moved it to "more dry" when doing jeans and towels.
