After 3 weeks of owning the dryer and using it 6 times or less it longer turns on. Yes we checked the obvious it is plugged in and checked breakers.

Very crappy quality dryer. Class action lawsuit pending over this

We recently switched to new washer and dryer, and I picked this dryer. This is my first gas dryer, and I was told everything will be getting dry quicker. Not really the case for us since we got larger capacity washer (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-4-8-cu-ft-11-cycle-high-efficiency-top-loading-washer-white/3656051.p?id=1219092665431&skuId=3656051) and if that one is full, it takes too long in this dryer to get everything dry. Splitting things in half do better and quicker job! I am not a big fan of removable filter this model has. I noticed it's barely catches anything. Not happy about that and Samsung has no solution for me. I LOVE wrinkle free function! It was automatically one when machine was installed, and at first I was afraid it took HOURS for my cloths to get dry... only to learn dryers never stopped :# It's easy to turn this function off. It's not a loud as our formal electric dryer #GE) was, but not quite either. We didn't pay for gas installation, so we had to do it. Unfortunately nobody told us we needed a splitter to connect this dryer to water line for steam to work. It was extra trip to the store = wasted time. Overall I am pretty happy with this dryer!

I love this dryer because it can dry a large load without over drying. It has the ability to know when the clothes are dry and it stops on its own.

I was looking for a good dryer and this by far does the job. I have steam dried some clothes just to take out the wrinkles and it has been a great asset. It matches our Samsung washer and has some great features on it. It has a large capacity for blankets, pillows, etc.

Huge capacity & so many settings/cycles! I love the steam feature. Installation by Best Buy was seamless.

I will amend this review when we receive the replacement unit. My wife and I purchased this unit and the matching washer last week and received them on Saturday afternoon. Today my wife called to get a replacement. The dryer takes hours to dry any load. We are not sure what the problem is, but it doesn't get hot enough no matter what settings we use. We have tried to dry several loads with the same results. Long dry times and the clothes still are not dry. I am hoping it was just that unit and not representative of this Samsung model in general.

After a thorough research project, I picked a Samsung washer and dryer. The washer is so quiet and the tub is so big - I've yet to fill it to the top. The dryer does an excellent job on my husband's shirts.

Happy with this dryer. But don't like the fact that I can't just put it on for a few minutes to take wrinkles out of clothes. You need to set a timer and even than it's no like just turning it on and fluffing the clothes. First time the dry clothes came out wet when I used the wrinkle cycle. Turns out there is a water feature for drying wrinkled clothes. Still haven't figured it out.

This dryer developed a rattle/buzzing noise only after a few months. Samsung refuses to warranty the dryer with the reason "it's operating within manufacturer specifications". The noise is incredibly loud and obnoxious, you can hear it from any room in my home. I had 3 repair techs come out to look at it and was told by one that Samsung uses cheap materials compared to the other brands and are known to make noises, I recommend staying away from Samsung appliances completely. The matching washing machine can wash a lot of clothes but the dryer can't keep up. It took four hours to dry three blankets one time. And the "steam dry" looks really cool in the video, but the clothes come out soaking wet. I've learned to put them in the night before and then take them out and let them hang dry by morning. Cool concept, bad implementation. By the way, I think Best Buy removes poor reviews. This dryer doesn't have very good reviews anywhere else.

Constant problems and without geek squad protection you get no where with service support.

I purchased this dryer in August 2016. Keeps making a loud screeching noise. Have had 2 motors and a pulley replaced already. Samsung repair can't figure out why it keeps making the noise. Trying to get a replacement unit. Dealing with Samsung has been a nightmare. I even called Best Buy and haven't received a call back yet from a Manager.

Lesson learned. We bought the matching washer and dryer pair. This dryer takes forever to dry a load of clothes.

2 months old, motor burned out. Should have bought a GE like the previous one I owned for 10 years
