It runs forever and never stops. It only does stop when you open the door. I strongly believe that my experience is not representative of the other models.

Have you checked to see if the Wrinkle Prevent option is turned on? Wrinkle Prevent provides approximately 180 minutes of intermittent tumbling in unheated air at the end of the cycle to reduce wrinkling. If this option was turned on without you knowing, it may appear that the Dryer just won't stop running. You can turn Wrinkle Prevent on or off by pressing the button on the control panel.
If this doesn't resolve the issue for you, I would suggest contacting Best Buy or Samsung for assistance determining whether service is necessary.

It is under Warranty with Samsung but after waiting 2 days for a call back we were told that it will take at least a week to get parts in and then they will set up a time. So now we have a broken brand new dryer

Too many pre-set cycles

I thought the pre-set cycles would be great, but there are almost too many and the heat settings cannot be adjusted to my preference, i.e. delicate only lets you dry on extra low, but I prefer low. There are no sensor/pre-set setting for just low heat, so I have to use a manual setting and use a timer. The dryer shelf for drying tennis shoes was also a little difficult to install. A little annoyed by those things, but otherwise a good dryer.

Just hope you never need it repaired. Ours is just over a year old, with moderate use, stopped shutting off. Called repair service. The motherboard has to be replaced. Guess what? Been waiting over a month and the dryer still isn't fixed. Why? Have to order part from Korea and wait until they make it, then send it! Told by repair guy he waited over 2 months for part for another dryer like this. I will never buy this brand product again.
