We bought this dryer and the matching washer during the Labor Day sale. The price was good and the delivery was awesome. The guys were prompt and professional. The took the old stuff out, brought the new stuff in, did all of the connections, and never made a mess! They explained the features and operations of both units. I wish all delivery guys were like them! The dryer looks cool and does exactly what we need it to do. Way to go Samsung!

We purchased the matching washing machine at the same time as the dryer in 2013. The dryer has had something major to break every year since the warranty went out. After year 1 the heating element went out, not the dryer will turn on but will not run at all. Just called and all they can offer is for me to buy another one year warranty for 288.00. I did not know that I would have to spend 300.00 to 400.00 additional dollars every year to keep this dryer running.

The water line was a little trouble hooking up because it is away from washer. We ran a feed from the hot water tank which is closer.

We bought this dryer 10 days ago and it was quickly and efficiently delivered 8 days ago. I've used it several times with excellent results. Unfortunately, even though two salesmen assured me that I could get a dryer with a door hinge on the left side and opening on the right, although the floor models doors all opened on the left, mine also still opens on the left. I called the day it was delivered and I have spent many hours at home in the last week waiting for a call to schedule a door reversal. The door is fairly tall and it is very uncomfortable trying to toss heavy wet clothes into the dryer while leaning over the open door. So, I would certainly recommend this particular dryer, but be aware that it is not always possible to order and receive a door that opens on the side that works next to your washer.

Terrible Customer Service/Poor Product

I usually don't complain, but this is the worst customer service experience that I have ever had. Our dryer stopped heating up so we could not dry our clothes 48 days after it was delivered and installed. We did not purchase the extended warranty, so we had to contact Samsung. The repair center they set us up with were scheduled to come out a third time and called to let us know that Samsung had sent them the wrong parts so they needed to cancel, reorder the parts and reschedule when they came in. When they finally were able to come out again to replace the motherboard for the 2nd time, the dryer still did not work. The repairman said we needed to call Samsung to get a new dryer. This was 32 days after the dryer stopped working. Each time I call Samsung, I can't get any help. I have been told I had to call in when the service center was open. This is not easy to do when you have to wait on hold for extended periods of time and the service center is open during the same hours I work. Each call to Samsung has lasted between 40 minutes and 1 hour 45 minutes. I have lost track of how much time I have spent on the phone with Samsung, the service center and the amount of time my husband has had to take off of work. I even had a supervisor tell me that he would call the service company the next day and then call me back. I never heard from him. Now the repair company said that Samsung thinks the 2 motherboards were faulty and they were told to replace it again for the third time. I know that we must have a lemon, but the time it is taking to fix this problem is ridiculous! 34 days now and counting and my new dryer is still broken!

This dryer would not get the clothes dry after the recommended drying time was completed. I would have to add more time after almost every load. Sometimes the dryer would not shut off and run for several hours.
