We had to decide on a new washer and dryer for our new home we just bought. Budget was a little tight but best buy had this on sale along with its counterpart(4th of July). We wash a ton of clothes especially now that we have a new born baby. This thing handles more than I thought it could, and I am glad it does. The operations of it took a little getting used to but other than that this thing is awesome. It's not as quiet as I thought it would be considering its advertised to be quiet. Sounds just as loud as others but this gets the job done in probably half the time.

This washer gets the job done. It does everything we need it to, and I love that you know exactly how long is left until the cycle finishes. I can't imagine needing any additional features, even though this is probably the lowest-cost high-efficiency washer.

Worked great for 6.5 years and then the heat gave out. Best buy said $400 to fix almost same to buy new!

Have had these for 6 years and they still look and work like brand new.

Dries so fast. Really impressed with the automatic settings and ease of use. Clothes come out unwrinkled.

I like the fact that its so easy to use and the tune it plays when cycle is finished is nice

I was looking for some appliance to place into our new home and Best Buy had a deal that I couldn't pass up. Plus the online reviews of this washer made it a perfect buy.

Needed a new dryer for my new house. The reviews on this Samsung were good, so I bought it. It blew a 35 amp fuse the first day, but we've had no problems since.

I like the dryer and it's capacity; it's also rather quiet. However, I could do without the long chime when you turn the unit on.

We bought this Dryer the end of September 2014. In April of 2015, it quit heating. I called customer service, and a week later they sent someone out to repair it. However, I had to fight with the repairman to make this a warranty claim. It took me a half hour and calling Lowes to convince him it was only six months old. The repairman was mad because he could not figure out what was wrong. It took him three weeks to fix it. In the meantime, I spent three weeks going to a laundry mat after paying a lot of money for a new dryer. Samsung didn't really care. After he "fixed" my dryer it never did sound right. Now, in September of 2015 it made a horrible noise and locked up. I called Samsung and they refused to fix it. Saying that it was no longer under warranty, I argued it was, I talked to someone higher up and she was nastier than the other employee I talked to. After giving up and going to buy another dryer (another brand of course) Talking to the lady she said it is for sure under warranty. So now I am playing the laundry mat game AGAIN. Since it will be another two weeks before a repairman can come out to fix it. I always recommended Samsung products because of great customer service we had a few years ago with a television. BUT NEVER AGAIN after the treatment I have received from Samsung.

Bought washer and dryer. The first time I used dryer it made a rattling noise in the back right side. It was steady for about about 2 minutes and then did it on and off about 30 seconds. Then, it was just a normal dryer sound and everything was fine. Seeing how I just paid $500 for it, I immediately called and did a return/ exchange. Two weeks later, the new dryer came. BB was really great about getting the exchange. New one sounded right...for about 5 days. It's now rattling. Not a best buy problem. This is a Samsung problem. Going to call manufacturer and see if anyone else is complaining about this. Dryer looks modern and works fine otherwise.

We purchased the washer and dryer. After 5 weeks, the dryer quit heating. Had to go through a repair service who couldn't get out to see it for a week. He determined the circuit board was bad and needed replaced......in another week because the part had to be ordered. Bottom line, 2 weeks without a dryer and 2 days home from work for repair on a 5 week old machine....no thank you. And we found out the machine was manufactured 1 1/2 years ago. Samsung was very difficult to work with, would not replace the machine because it was "only a bad part". We returned both and bought a different brand.

Stopped heating up after 5 years. Likely bad heating element. Expected it to last atleast 5 more years for the price and brand.

I absolutely love this dryer! The only thing I had to get use to was the sensor dry feature because when some blankets are dry on the outside and not dry on the inside. But I have no issues with it and it works like a charm! Great purchase!

This is a nice dryer for a family of five. Not loud and dries in a timely manner. love the various settings! I did four stars only because of the price.

My wife and I have had this dryer for two weeks. We have used it approximately 3 or 4 times. This thing has had issues from the get go. The heating element is insanely loud. It will drive you nuts until it gets warmed up. Smelled hot on initial use too,but at least that got better. Tech came out and said the noise was normal. There is no way this can be right. The buzzing element is bad enough,but now the thing has developed a very noticeable rattle or vibration. You can hold your hand against the side of the washer and it will stop. This will drive me up the wall and my wife also. Very let down by this thing. No way that can be normal. My wife and I are going to have to go and talk to the store owner for a resolution of this issue. Stay away from this dryer,and the Samsung washer I reviewed about a week ago.

Priced right. Dryer dries clothes fast. Only downside is there is no light inside.
