I waited for 6 months before reviewing this dryer. My previous dryer was Fisher-Paykel and it was on its last leg. I saw good reviews on this, so I got it. I have to say the drying has been hit or miss. I can't seem to find a combination of settings and loads of clothes that can consistently end with a set of dry clothes. You buy these things to get your clothes dry and this one does some times, emphasis on some. I had the dryer vent to the outside blown out prior to the install to start off fresh. But it seems the inconsistency has nothing to do with the vent (the dryer checks for obstructions with each load in addition). When it works, it works well. When it works.

It should be unlawful to sell products this bad. It’s louder than any other appliance I’ve owned. It does not clean large loads. Leaves soap on clothes. Leaves water in tub.

I wanted to dry 2 pieces of clothing and the dryer after going for 5 min would turn off. I have to load the dryer with more clothes in order it to continue to work. Other than that it works ok.

The tone when cycle is finished is not load enough to hear. It does not keep the same setting from previous use, which is very inconvenient---have to start fresh with each load,

Even an average load of clothes takes too long to dry. Have noticed clothes are often dry long before cycle is complete.

When drying sheets they roll other things up into themselves and get very wrinkled and not dry. You have to take it out, unroll it and then retry.

Have to admit the moister sensor is not great. With normal cloths it does tend to dry them but some items tend to come out moist or partly wet. There are times where I need to put the cloths to dry twice and the bed sheets to put to dry twice on the highest setting. Do not far for efficient gas saver for something that requires two cycles. There are times where the dryer will just run for a few minutes for the second cycle and it will shut off.

It seems to take a long time to wash no matter which cycle I use! My clothes are always a wrinkled mess when I take them out!

it takes 2 cycles to dry cloths and towels and there is no light in the dryer

Good drying but I'd like a low cool dry for delicates

better then the washer but it takes a while to get used to.

Purchased this dryer,after a few months the enamel started peeling from the inside drum.Called the manufacturer and they told me it was not covered under any warranty and they wouldn’t even exchange it for me.

I read a bunch of reviews for this model before I purchased it, little did I know since the model was new that there was no info on the extended quality. Two years in and the dryer drum cracked! Seriously?! I had my Kenmore for 17 years. Now I am reading that there is a class action lawsuit with Samsung for this very issue. The lawsuit says Samsung will not fix this manufacture defect for free, I am hoping Best Buy will help me navigate this issue.

I would expect a dryer that costs almost $1K should last longer than six years. Built to fail.

This unit leaked gas since new. The gas valve was replaced under warranty by Samsung and.....the new valve leaks. Have to turn the gas on/off to dryer in able to safely use it. Hopefully valve #3 works?!

If not for Geek Squad 5 year protection plan this appliance would be gone already.

Use this dryer five times. Thought my imagination that dryer is taking to long to dry and leaving clothes damp. Put clothes in dryer woke up in morning and dryer was still running and clothes were damp, repair person scheduled

Very bad experience in dealing with a sales lady who had no idea about the product and she sold me a really bad Samsung dryer - Its extremely noisy, doesn't dry well. By the time I realized, its not working ... 15 days were gone. Great!! now I can't even return it
