Dries very quickly and its works fine. I will recommend this

Keep getting vent block error even though it is clear.

It has a lot of settings to help get the optimal drying experience, but no matter what settings I use it takes way too long to dry a normal load.

My 15-year old dryer that I replaced with this one worked better than this. I have to dry reasonably sized loads multiple times to get them to dry. Also, on the main control panel, wherever there is silver, it’s chipping off. The dryer is only two years old, it shouldn’t be doing this.

drum broke in 1 year. our clothes were coming off torn and pinched. I called technician who diagnosed the problem. I cannot even fox this as Samsung is back logged with orders for 6-8 months.

Repair man has had to come twice already. Drier stops working. Lint accumulates in areas inside drier that cannot be seen and we are expected to clean it. Owned many driers before and have never has this problem. So disappointed.

This dryer takes too long and it doesn't even dry your clothes properly

I would never recommend this is takes 3 hours to dry a load of clothes.

I have been using this machine for a while without any issues. I think the sanitizer mode is one of the best features.

Dryer heating element went out on year 4. but it's great

We recently bought this set and I was hesitant because there were mixed reviews on the washer but not the dryer. The washer is amazing I love it but the dryer....no thank you. It doesn't dry evenly. When a load is done and I take things out to fold it, one will be dry, the next has a damp corner, the next is still soaked. Even when I do the super high heat and very dry setting this still happens. I purposely picked this dryer for the steam setting and I was very disappointed with that as well. When it dispenses water it doesn't come out as steam it just comes out like you turned on a faucet, so you get huge wet spots. It worked OK when I only put 3 or 4 items in there to "refresh" but when you order the giant 5.4 cu ft washer, only putting 3 things in at a time, is not realistic.

Normal use at home worked fine until just after 1 year warranty expired. Now sometimes wont turn on. It seems to be a motherboard issue from online research and is common on Samsung washers. CAUTION CONSIDER DIFFERENT BRAND

I’ve owned this dryer for 3 years. At the 2 1/2 year mark it started making this ungodly squealing noise. Since it’s out of warranty, we fixed it ourselves and it took care of the problem (we replaced the belt and the rollers, which we’ve heard are notorious for going out). It’s been 3 months and the squealing noise is back. It’s so high pitches it hurts my ears and gives me a head ache. Our neighbors who have the same machine and coincidentally bought it around the same time, have the exact same issue. It also doesn’t dry very well (never has really) so I’m cutting my losses and buying a new dryer, an LG (to match the washer I bought when my Samsung washer was recalled). Obviously Samsung struggles with making quality long lasting washers and dryers.

I have purchased several Samsung TV's and was VERY pleased with the product and life of the TV's. When we needed a new washer and dryer I assumed it would be a no brainier to go with Samsung. I was VERY wrong! The dryer is loud and already has a wheel or spring screeching. The lint trap is poorly designed and globs of lint falls in the bottom creating a fire hazard for sure. You will have to take it apart to completely clean out the lint build up. Our dryer is only about a year and a half old and I'm sure it will need to be replaced in the next few years. I am getting ready to purchase all new kitchen appliances and they WILL NOT be Samsung.

Dont buy Samsung washer/ dryer. Owned my dryer for two years, every year the repair man comes out to fix the same thing. Luckily, I purchased the extended warranty. I have asked Samsung for my money back because of the poor quality.
