Dryer worked fine for three years. We could not figure out any fancy features like steam drying nope never tried it, wrinkle free feature nope. What went terrible is now dryer tumbler won’t stop tumbling even when dryer power button is off! We contacted customer service and need repair company to come out who charge just to visit $115 per hour or so. I googled and found that this is a very known issue and been around for 7 years. How can Samsung continue selling dryers with this known defect? I am very disappointed. I cannot believe that three years since buying this fancy dryer I have to consider of to repair or get rid off. Next I have to check if the washer I bought with this dryer is on the recall list for software fire hazard. I do enjoy the look of Samsung dryer and it’s worked ok for us until today. Is three years sufficient to expect from an appliance - and bottom line am so thankful that we didn’t leave the dryer on ever unsupervised - it would have been tumbling indefinitely.

Do not know how I ever lived without the steam function before! Bought the corresponding washer for a great deal and could not be happier with the combo. Dryer is quiet, efficient, and again could not be happier with the steam function.

Dryer is still working just as smooth as when i purchased it nearly 4 years ago. really happy thus far.

I have had Two of these dryer now! The first one was less than 2 years old when I had to replace it! And now the second one had to have the metal basket drum replaced as it cracked. I have to run it multiple times sometimes for it to dry items. Now it has stopped running all together and was only bought on Aug 14, 2020!

This Samsung seemed to exclusively work in the e-mode (which would create excessive wear and tear on some of our clothing). Though the e-mode could be turned off... it was always another step to remember to do. We returned the Samsung. We purchased a GE dryer instead. It (i.e, the GE) doesn't do steam, but we never use steam anyway. The GE dryer works like a dream and was lower in price.

Bought in Nov 2018. By Oct 2021 the machine wouldn’t turn off unless it was unplugged or the door was opened. Samsung repair service was over $800, which we declined as that costs more than a new machine.

Bought this 3 years ago and the roller went out and made a big cracks in the drum. Worthless

My experience only and hopefully your experience will be different. Dryer was installed February of 2018, stopped working in August of 2018, we had to call the fire department as we believed it to be on fire or have an internal fire. That did not occur however it was making a strong odor. We had the unit repaired by a Samsung tech and it worked until September 7 and is now rendered useless. Good luck getting Samsung to work with you on this.

It takes 2-3 cycles for a small load of clothes. Forget doing a normal or large load. It takes all day. We've tried turning off the eco mode and using a manual timed dry. After 3 hours a small load that would take 40 minutes on a good dryer is still damp. Not worth the money at all.

Dryer has only been in use once a week for 3 years. It is now a safety hazard and will not stop running unless unplugged from the wall

It took drying a small load of baby clothes 4 times before they were dry. Worst dryer ever! Yes they are pretty but Don’t even waste your time looking at these.

ENTIRE MOTOR WENT OUT IN LESS THAN 2 YEARS, have a 1 family household and do not use much. NO WARRANTY, do NOT recommend buying
