My dryer had an internal gas leak from day one. I tried contacting the store I bought this from and could not get in touch with one live person after about 3-4 hours of trying. I was also in contact with Samsung who after a giant run around finally sent a repairman out to check out the problem. After about 1 week and a half the dryer has been repaired and everything is ok. I am very very disappointed with Best Buy that they either were not honest with the reason why this item was previously returned or they didn't care enough to test it out before selling this item again. This could have been a huge problem had the dryer actually caused an explosion in my house. Shame on Best Buy.

Posted .Hi Tammy! I'm thrilled to see you like your dryer. Most of the cycles on a Samsung dryer are Sensor Dry cycles, meaning they will detect when the clothes are dry. Examples of Sensor Dry cycles include, but are not limited to: Normal, Heavy Duty, Bedding, and Sanitize.
If the load is mixed, for instance, jeans with t-shirts, the cycle may take longer than expected because the sensor will still sense that there is moisture (wet clothes)in the dryer. A good option is to switch to a manual cycle, like Time Dry. The cycle runs for a set amount of time, and the moisture sensors are no longer an issue. Simply the same clothes are having to dry for at least 3 or 4 cycles. Yesterday, the same clothes were drying in the machine all day. I tried to call to return and the answer was the "deadline passed" I bought on 01/18 and received on 01/30, however the installation took place a week after delivery, that is, I have been using the machine for more or less 1 and 1/2. And When I explained this to the phone operator the answer was "it doesn't matter" the deadline has passed !!!! At the end the problem is mine, "ÿou should call the manufacture"!!! By the way, that purchased started with some bad things it doesn't surprise me to end worse! Seriously, best buy is this the type of service you offer?

Not bad...but not great as it should be

I like the washing machine, and don't seem to have known problems about getting clothes clean with big loads. But the problem with the dryer is that it takes forever to dry the same big load. (And I don't use dryer sheets so that can't be the issue.) I often don't put it all in together. Sheets and light weight blankets can take 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours on the Normal setting. Usually I put the load in for Normal, then end up adding about 40 minutes more of time. And I get many wrapped up in each other. This should not be an issue with the large capacity promise...I guess just because it is large, doesn't me it can handle the large load. Then be EXTRA careful not to dry anything with a larger metal zipper....my drum got very dented from drying a spring coat in the first week I used it, which is a bummer as I have to live with the dents on the drum and there are many. This never happened with my past front load LG and we dried everything. And GEEK SQUAD INSTALL IS AWFUL...took three visits by them to get someone who actually knew how to install the set. Hoses are in the washer...one hose connects dryer to washer, then other washer to wall.
