Dryer is an OK performer...

The self-install was fairly easy. But it does not appear to dry thoroughly in one cycle. I often have to run larger items like large towels twice (or more) to get them dry. I adjusted (shortened) the vent hose, check for blockages, etc., and it is slightly better, but still not quite satisfied with it. I'm thinking it might be just me, so giving it a bit more time. I would not recommend this at this time, but may if I find out the issues are operator error.

Sensor too sensitive

When I called Samsung to inquire about this within a month of my 2020 purchase, the representative appeared to be hesitant to send someone out for service and suggested that I wipe the sensor. I've tolerated the dryer, but am not satisfied.

It never dried it should have been called a damp machine

Doesn’t dry properly

Samsung Sensor Dryer

The sensor dry function prevents clothes fully drying. It literally takes hours of adding extra wet clothes to dry a single load of clothes. So much, I give up and just clothes line my clothes to completely dry our clothes. A total waste of space on my laundry room. There need to be way to disconnect the sensor dry button. I will never buy Samsung products again.

Not what I expected

And I want to apologize if you have to run the cycle twice to get your clothes dry. If your dryer is heating but the clothes are still damp, your vent is probably blocked. If your dryer has weak heat and runs for a long time, that could also be a blocked vent. And if your dryer ends after only a couple of minutes with soaking wet clothes, your moisture sensors could be dirty. And these are only some of the possible causes.

Doesn’t dry in 1 cycle

doesn't dry as well as it should

I tried adding more heat but did not work, so now I add more time. If it can't handle something as common as towels, they need to change the default settings.

Samsung Dryer

This is my second service repair on this item since I purchased it. When it was delivered the heating coil was out I had to wait a week for a new replacement as the technician sent out couldn’t fix it.

Less useful than a stiff outdoor breeze.

The enormous size was a selling point yet it struggles to dry a single king sized comforter. If you fill it more than 50% with clothes it chugs along and fails to dry after even two full Normal cycles. The fact that it takes 1.5 to 2 hours to fully dry a load of laundry means that I have to take an entire day to wash, dry and clean two people's clothes. It plays a cute song when it's done so there is that, but otherwise I would advise everyone to save themselves the trouble and buy anything other than Samsung washer/dryers.

Horrible place to purchase appliance!

Very noisy.

Don’t waste your money or time .

Had to borrow my tools . Claimed they didn’t have the right parts . Had to hire a plumber to complete installation using all existing parts . Left a mess on the floor and piut uninstalled parts in the garbage can along with my power strip . Customer service was worthless

Open box means questionable product

The machine they sold me has an internal gas leak that forces me to be home when using the dryer and to make sure I don't leave the gas supply valve open when not in use. Hopefully I never forget and fall asleep while it's running.
