Do not trust delivery texts

I chose my washer and dryer delivery dates to be around the same date. I got a random text from best buy well after choosing my delivery date stating that my original delivery date was delayed for my dryer due to back order. When the original delivery date arrived, I decided to go ahead and step away from my home since my orginal date was not going to happen according to their text. As the day went on, I got a notification on my camera showing that they still came on that original delivery date. I had really been anticipating my new appliance deliveries and I would have stayed home if I would have not gotten that false text stating that I had to choose another delivery date because the original was not going to happen due to a back order. I immediately called and complained about missing my delivery due to this false text stating that my date was changed and demanded that they bring my dryer right back around because they were the reason I missed it. I was given the run around and lied to by customer service and also the warehouse that it was suposedly escalated to. This went on for days and even after numerous calls, they pretty much left my dryer sitting in their warehouse and would not bring it back out to me until this "new date" which was about a month out. If this wasn't bad enough, I was also told that I would get a gift card for the miscommunication and the terrible experience. Never got that gift card either. The dryer is great, but 0 stars for the experience.

DO NOT BUY!! FIND A BETTER PRODUCT & COMPANY.

We purchased this dryer May 3rd and it was inoperable as of the first week of June. Due to it being under company warranty we were forced to deal with Samsung directly. We had to go rounds with them to get the ticket sent over for repair. We were told by the Samsung representative that there is only one service provider who only has one tech. THAT WAS A LIE. After doing our own research we found that there are 2. We THOUGHT the second would better so we scheduled with them. That ended up being a highly regretted mistake. After multiple attempts to get scheduled we got an acceptable appointment on the books and then THEY CANCELED ON US...on the same day. However they were able to reschedule our canceled Friday appointment for a Monday morning appointment (which is today). THAT morning appointment has been moved to an appointment this afternoon when my husband is not available due to having to go to work. We have been without a dryer for a month. Samsung is not doing anything but telling us they have escalated it. The repair company is researching the no-show. I'm not sure what the resolution will be but I want to save anyone researching and looking at their products the money and headache that we are having to deal with. NO ONE should have to deal with warranty repairs on a new product in less than 30 days of ownership, ESPECIALLY with such a small network of service centers. It should just be replaced, repaired in house and resold as a reconditioned product but instead Samsung would rather inconvenience the consumer. BUYER BEWARE. I can tell you we absolutely regret the purchase and having to deal with Samsung to the point of almost wanting to call it an expensive loss and purchasing another brand. With the money and time wasted going to a disgusting, expensive public laundry facility it may be the best decision if we have to wait much longer.

Nice Dryer
