Samsung customer service is the worst.

I just recently May of 2024 had an error code appear of "HC". Dryer kept shutting off after 10 seconds. Unfortunately, my dryer was 9 months out of warranty. I reached out to Samsung to see about this issue and they informed me it's out of warranty and I need to get it serviced on my own. Had it serviced and it turned out to be the motherboard was the issue. Had to pay $383 to fix. I emailed the CEO of Samsung via their site explaining the entire situation and asked for them to honor their product even after the minimal 12 month warranty they offer. Well, the rep. called me and basically read from their playbook stating, "Unfortunately, your product is out of warranty..." Something I already knew, but still asked them to stand by their product. A motherboard should not go bad alert 1 year, 9 months of use. Worst customer service. I asked if that was Samsung's final answer and that was it. This company does not have its customers best interest in mind. They can put crap in a box and sell it to us as long as it lasts for at least 12 months. I don't know about you, but I don't knowingly like to spend thousands of dollars on products that are only going to last under 2 years. Done with Samsung.

This one died in the first week. Best Buy replaced it quickly. This dryer does not remember your settings. The dryness sensor is useless. The default settings don't get any load dry so you can't just throw a load in and push start. It has an app that I can't figure out a scenario that it is useful. I loaded the settings in the app that I like and sent them to the dryer which worked for one load only. Quicker to just change the settings on the dryer. I assumed a 10 year newer dryer would be an improvement but it's not close to the dryer that I replaced.

Nice dryer but have problems

Return the set.

We had a noise issue with the first one. We had Best Buy replace it with the same item. It had the same issue. We wanted to go with a separate brand but Best Buy would not allow us to exchange the washer. We went with the same dryer from a different store and it is working fine. When returning one of a set, return both because you bought a set. That way your not stuck with an un-matching set.
