    Does not come with power cord.

    Just writing a review so that other customers know. The power cord is sold separately! I have not been able to use the dryer yet so I cannot speak on its performance.

    Dryer broke after less than two years

    We bought this set less than two years ago. The dryer broke and the electric panel costs around $300. We could potentially pay to fix that and then further have the other panel not work. Essentially our local appliance repair person told us that the dryer is either costing us a further $300-$500 or it’s essentially totaled. After less than two years of regular use for a two person household. I’m feeling pretty disappointed in Best Buy (not that corporations are known for actual customer service) and in Samsung. I wish companies would stand by their products. I wish Best Buy would offer some sort of a credit. I understand that we could have spent a few more hundred dollars for the additional protection but again this makes me doubt Best Buys ability to really just sell quality products and take responsibility when they suck. Lastly- our local appliance repair person told us that modern Samsung models that he sees regularly are having these expensive issues and are essentially not worth it.

    Takes far too long to dry the cloths. My electric bill has increased due to the need for multiple cycles. Would not buy again.

    Garbage

    I tried to return this set, they give you only 14 days. Be aware of it. This dryer is absolutely garbage. In the description it sounds that you’re making the best purchase. I was a fool to believe it. When you dry clothes it has a mechanism or sensor to stop the machine when the clothes are dry. But in reality the thick clothes are dampened. Tried to dry again, but the machine stops.

    Can not adjust heat setting

    You can only adjust the heat temperature on one setting. If i would of know this i would not have purchased this dryer. Normal, perm a press, beddding, cycles are all on high heat and youdo not have the ability to adjust the temps. There is only one setting where i have the ability to make adjustments to the heat. I don’t recommend this dryer.

    Difficult situation

    The Samsung dryer (DVE50R5400V/A3) purchased in May 2021 is inoperable. The “cooling” light is always on. No heat. We have been without an operating dryer for over two weeks now. I contacted Samsung for repair on December 30th. What a joke! I’d I knew how difficult it would be to get help from Samsung (or Best Buy for that matter), I would have shopped somewhere else and for a different brand. Terrible experience all the way around.

    Doesn’t last long

    Just a little over two years later and it’s completely dead. Will not turn on. Washer is fine. What a shame! These are expensive.

    No heat after 10 loads

    Had to tear the whole thing apart to replace the thermostat in machine after 10 uses no heat. I would not recommend this dryer as you will be replacing parts frequently.

    The dryer is great but I his store was absolutely a nightmare! Couldn't get any help. The staff stood up front on their phones. One guy actually looked at us, shook his head no, and walked the other way. We will never buy anything else from Canton GA best buy.

    Lies lies lies On the ad said FREE INSTALLATION + Requiered Parts And on the check put charged me $120 for installation and parts, I called to the number that said and they send me a link and the same thing charged me $120 at the end.

    Doesn’t work

    I bought this dryer because my old one had to be cycled through many times in order to dry clothes. I have to do the same thing with this one!!! All that money for same issue. Definitely doesn’t work right

    Bad service

    Bad service when they are installing it. The guy won’t move our old dryer to the garage, but leave a big mess on the floor where we have to clean it up our self.
