14 months old and broken!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This dryer, although it looks real nice and is quiet, has problems drying things like comforters. My old GE dryer that was over 15 years old did a better job. Even after all that, I still kept the Samsung because it was stack-able and matched my washer. After only 14 months of use, the dryer failed. It will not stop running, even if the dryer is off. I have to either leave the door open, or disconnect the dryer from the outlet to get it to stop. I called technical support, and because the dryer is out of warranty, I have to cover the labor costs to repair it. Is this the quality I should be expecting from Samsung going forward?

After taking out the extended warranty I was dropped because I had to use the warranty to keep fixing the same parts on the dryer. 5 times they repaired the dryer and I am sure in a couple of months the same parts will break again. I am very unhappy with the whole experience. It is bad when the repair men know you and your house because they have been there that much.

Till yesterday now is making a terrible grating noise like there is a lbs of coins in it, there is nothing visible in drum. We have had less than two months and do maybe 3 loads a week at most. Very disappointed. However best buy has a team that is going to assist with repairs instead of Samsung so that maybe the one saving grace after reading reviews of dealing with manufacture repairs.
