We have been using this dryer for a few months and our only complaint is that when it initially starts there is an odd noise. The noise eventually goes away.

Broke down four times the two years I’ve had it. Works great , bug very sensitive

Not happy about how much it fit inside, nor did I like bending over to get clothes out etc. returned and traded in.

Should have been ok but I rather bought the one with 10 cycle. That has child look as well.

The dryer requires a separate water line for the steamer. That was the biggest mistake ever made. It didn't shut off and ended up flooding out my dryer vent. Before the water line it worked great was able to dryer a king size quilt in under 30 mins.

We recently purchased this dryer (and matching washer) to replace a 3 yr old set who's washer never worked terribly well. We wanted a matching set again, so we bought this dryer to do with the washer. This dryer works exceptionally well. There are many setting to find what works best for your loads and family's needs. There is also an Eco Dry option, if you are so inclined. The features I love are: the completely flat top for folding laundry, the black stainless steel and ice blue LED display, the sheer quietness of this dryer when it is operating, the design of the dryer lint filter. This dryer is just as beautiful as it's matching washer. Simply stunning with the black stainless steel and ice blue LED display. It makes me smile every time I walk by our laundry room, the black is so visually appealing compared to the usual drab white. It drys well, it does as it is intended. You may have to work with the settings to find a combination that works well with your clothing and family. I can dry a full load of regular clothes on the Normal cycle in 45 minutes, turning off the Eco Dry option. The lint filter is a design I have not seen before. It is a fully closing basket that seems to catch and capture the lint so well, keeping the internal lint duct very clean after a load. I love that this housing can be easily washed to remove build up. This dryer is very quiet. You of course will hear clothes spinning around, shoes bopping the insides, and jacket zippers hitting the drum.....but the dryer itself and the motor operating it are relatively quiet. It is an absolutely stunning machine. Very happy with our purchase.

I have the gas version of this dryer too and it works so much better. The majority of the time my clothes are not dry after a full cycle and I have to run the dryer again.

The washer is ok. I wouldn’t buy again it smells. I feel like the washer doesn’t wash the clothes properly

Heating element went out in under 3 years after purchase.

Rolls articles together like a print would be rolled for a tubular container. Never heard or experienced this. Cost extra electricity and valuable time to keep attempting to dry articles.

Factory stripped screw snagged all our clothes!!!!

does not dry enough even you set a time for 1 hour it shuts down by itself

I bought this Samsung washer and paired dryer in the beginning of December. I chose this washer for its steam technology and the capacity to wash larger loads. I spend several weeks researching washers and dryers, as well as reading reviews. From everything I read, it seemed like a good buy. I have a Samsung phone, and have been very happy with its performance. Immediately I noticed that the dryer was not living up to its performance claims. Everything would come out damp. I thought that it had to be operator error, since it was a brand new dryer. The dryer would roll all the laundry into a tight ball, and the items in the center would consistently come out damp. I tried everything. I put less in each load, I put more in each load. I ran items through several loads. I tried taking out items, shaking them out and running them through again. I even put a tennis ball in with the load as was recommended on many troubleshooting sites. All of this was very frustrating, however, I assumed it was something that I had been doing wrong. Then, week 3 into owning the washer and dryer, the washer began to leak water out of the front. I could spend time troubleshooting the appliances, calling Samsung, and attempting to have them come and repair/ correct the issues. However, after installation, taxes, and the extra kits that are required for the steam technology, I ended up spending around $1800. These appliances are less than a month old. Both of them should not be experiencing the issues that are occurring. My concern is that if they are having issues this early on, what it going to happen in a year or two? The washer and dryer that I had owned previously were over 15 years old, and were both still in working condition with no repairs ever performed on either appliance. Furthermore, I do not have the time to spend going back and forth with Samsung and/or Best Buy to get these brand new appliances fixed. I am returning them before the 30 return policy expires. I would not recommend Samsung washers or dryers to anyone. For the amount of money that I spent, I feel as though you should be able to have a working washer and dryer without any issues for at least the first month.

Been 4 gears. Still running good. Runs smooth. Easy to use.
