Good for the price. Buy the warranty as we had a couple of issues but they fixed them.

6 year of use and it fails regularly. Repair professionals can’t diagnosis it and recommend replacement. Drum won’t turn or controls make the drum stop intermittently as if in wrinkle prevention mode.

great dryer for the price and it is just magical. includes a dry clean mode. make your wife happy with this one

I have had plenty dryers and this is by far the best

The motor in our Samsung dryer died just over the 2 year mark. Samsung could care less when I spoke with them on the phone. So it cost me $500 a year to dry clothes. If that is reasonable for you, then go for it and buy Samsung dryers. I have socks that have outlasted this machine.

Overall a good dryer, but after five years it does not seem like it does as good of a job drying the clothes

Just like everything else they make, total piece of junk!! After one year it would cost $350 to fix and would likely break again (per repair man). Just past the warranty period and I have a giant waste of money!

I purchased this Samsung Dryer in September 2014. In June 2016, the dryer stopped heating. I called Samsung to complain and was told that the dryer had a 1 year warranty and that I had to pay for all repairs. My old dryer lasted 15 years. This one hardly lasted 15 months. Who buys a dryer expecting to have to repair it within 2 years? I'm extremely disappointed by the Samsung product, warranty and customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid Samsung products.

Has broke 4 times for different thing's there tv are great not so much for the appliances

Purchased my dryer through 1-888-BESTBUY and it is now weeks after transaction and everything has gone wrong from BESTBUY coordinating delivery, rescheduling delivery due to snowstorm, to installation. Long story short, the 3rd party installer BESTBUY contracts with, left the new dryer in my garage, did not haul away my broken one (left it standing in the middle of my laundry room unusable) and told me the parts I was REQUIRED to purchase with my installation (could not leave checkout without including these) would not work and I would need to buy the correct parts. The "escalation" team got involved after I went to my local BESTBUY store which helped me advocate. They called within 2 hours saying they got the info and would get back to me within an hour. 3 hours after not hearing, I called back and they said they would return my call. It is two days later of not hearing. This has been a DISASTER!!!! I don't know if purchasing this product in the store would be better, but DO NOT BUY ONLINE --BUYER BEWARE!!!! Hope this dryer once hooked up is as good as other reviewers have said.

I brought this dryer in July 2015 as it got good reviews and I had just bought a house that needed a dryer. Over the years the dryer has worked great. Until the last few weeks when I noticed it was just turning off in mid cycle. Then it just stopped working and began to smell like burning rubber. I spoke with Samsung customer service and they walked me through some troubleshooting to no avail. I ultimately had to call a repair person who diagnosed my dryer with a broken motor. He told me that it seemed to be quite common that Samsung dryer's break within 3 - 4 years and need motor replacements. I am shocked that a dryer would not even last 4 years. When you spend around $800 on an appliance that typically last around 10+ years you would expect it to make it to its fourth birthday. Well ultimately I was responsible for the full replacement of the motor. Samsung said there was nothing they could do (only a one year warranty) and I was on the hook for the $400 repair bill. After doing some research it seems that Samsung dryer's may look great but ultimately are an inferior product. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere to other brands.

I purchased this dryer along with the matching washer in Sept 2016. In June 2018, the dryer started making squeaking noises, and then stopped working. The appliance repair person found that all four belt pulleys were melted (they are plastic). I contacted Samsung since this is obviously a quality issue, and they refused to reimburse the $325 it cost me to repair. If you search online, you will find this is a very common issue with Samsung dryers. The pulleys cannot handle the high heat of the dryer and should be made out of a metal. Avoid Samsung appliances at all costs, unless you like emptying your pockets.

does not work as salesman said. Almost a month old and Geek Squad warranty no help because they do not answer even when the store tried to help. No one home after sales. Samsung rep. out today. He says instructions wrong in the book. Refresh just soaks the clothes to wet and unwearable. After he made two calls to samsung engineers "design problems" not what a customer wants to hear. NO SOLUTION offered except call Samsung

I've had the dryer for about two years and now it has started struggling to dry clothes. Sometimes they are nice and warm and dry, other times damp. Even running several long cycles does not always dry the clothes. We had a "certified" technician come out - after paying for the service call, he said, "I can't figure it out."

I bought a Samsung Dryer. The weld in the drumb cracked after 2-years. There is nothing the company will do for you when it happens. Buy a different brand.

I filled my home with new Samsung appliances since they seemed like a good brand. They all look nice, but are terrible quality and do a very poor job. Stay away from Samsung and all of their products. The minimum number of stars is 1, but this product deserves 0.
