The dryer is good but it takes to much time to dry clothes

I have had front loading Samsung washers in the past and I have one now. So when my current dryer failed I figured I would purchase a front loading gas dyer to match it. The salesman at the store talked me in to upgrading from an electric dryer to a gas dryer as it "was cheaper to run". This piece of garbage will not dry clothes. I have had nothing but issues with it. I put a load of towels in and tried to dry them using 5 different settings and varying the temperatures and everything I could try using the 18 plus setting available and after 4 hours my towels were still damp. Unacceptable! Samsung has lost my business forever in one fell swoop.

I bought Samsung appliances because I believed that they had excellent quality. The first dryer that I got did not work. The first refrigerator that I got had a blown compressor. Best Buy did a good job replacing those models.

Purchased this Samsung Gas Dryer 6 months ago. Now its making a terrible grinding sound and not heating. Called Geek squad. Sorry we can't help you the first year as thats Samsung Warranty. Called samsung. 5 days before they can come out then 1-3 days to order parts. It will be 10 days before they can fix. We have a family of 7. this is terrible. Will never buy a samsung product again (Note 7 anyone..) And frankly the geek squad isn't looking very good here either.

Drum started making noises after 2.5 years of life. We paid >400$ for somebody from Samsung to come fix it and told us that it was a very common deffect (!!??). A couple weeks ago, we found out that our clothes were shrinking. Customer service was asking us 200$ + whatever the cost of the repair was so no, thank you. Somebody came and fixed it for 90$.

Washer and dryer have giving me problems since day one. Washer door will not close and lock and less you're putting full body force on it and dryer sounds like it's grinding upon start up. I thought Samsung products were supposed to be good but I'm also having problems with my refrigerator and dishwasher also

Doesn't dry evenly and it always sounds like there are tennis balls in it I exchanged it

I love the options available for this dryer. Efficient and is great at getting my clothes dry. Highly recommend.

Received the first dryer and did not work due to the drum being broke. Then I was told I would get some kinda rewards card Never got. And it took over two weeks for me to get started washing and drying again.

Wow what a piece of sht. That’s all I’m going to say. After a year of having it the rollers went bad. Greed Squad wants to charge me to come out and fix it. What a rip off. Phuck Best Buy and Phuck Samsung!!

Do not purchase this dryer if your looking for quality - I'd be skeptikle after reading this review - been on hold and disconnect 11 times this morning trying to get a exchange or complete return.

Does work very well since we bought. Stop working. Fist it start making too much noise. Take too long to dry. Now stop working

Features don't work, nothing like my kenmore that lasted 12 years! Now rollers don’t work and squeals like crazy!

the worst dryer ever thank god I got geek squad warranty with in 3 years I had to call geek squad 7 times

This is our 1st gas dryer purchase and its amazing how much faster it drys compared to an electric one. The steam feature will not remove wrinkles out of performance/active (polyester) clothing very well. The capacity is impressive. It does vibrate/rattle slightly when running but not too bad.

I bought this in pair with the 42 Cu Ft 9 Cycle High Efficiency Steam Front Loading Washer. I forgot to buy accessories like the gas line and vent kit when initially delivered, so it was not installed. Then I bought them on bestbuy and made an appointment again. Guys came to my home again and installed it for free. The service is 5 stars. The dryer is very efficient and drys my 1 week load of clothes under 30 minutes.

Love my new dryer, it's quite, it dries nicely. Love all the choices of different cycles.

Dryer works great. I bought almost 1 year ago. One thing to remember that this dryer is not eligible for rebate with NJCleanEnergy which I just found when my application got rejected. When I bought this dryer, they said it is eligible. So check the list of dryers before buy it if you are interested to get the rebate.

I was happy with the dryer for 3 years - then on Permanent Press, it began to shut off before clothes dried. Repairman tried but could not fix. Now. 4 years old, it stopped altogether. different repairman tried replacing motor but no joy, so says i need new control board which is very hard to come by. I'm going to order a different brand. Also, now gas dryers have to be mounted on a stand (perhaps only in California?)
