Neither of us have had any issues with them. I highly recommend getting the pedestals. You won't have to bend down for the loads and it also gives you extra storage space. I have yet to use the Smart Care app since coming across the USB (sold separately) is pretty hard to find in stores. Overall great dryer.

It has many options to choose from along with the ability to put it in mute mode as well so you don't hear dings for each selection choice. I have had about 60+ cycles through it and it just works along with using options for steam cycles to get wrinkles out of dress clothes.
