And when it finishes and the signal sounds I again (every time) need to run the dryer on Timed Dry for 10-20 more min. to actually get them dry as they’re still slightly damp. That shouldn’t be...

Posted .Hi there Kilmer1236, I see that you are having some concerns with your Samsung Dryer not drying your clothes properly and understand that can be an inconvenience. That is why I would like to offer you some assistance. When you are using any sensor dry cycles, you will want the materials to be alike and of the same size. A sock will dry faster than a large pair of jeans causing the sensor to sense that the load is dry. I have some additional information, see link below:

Faulty Sensor

The smart sensor did not work so only one setting is able to dry clothes or you have to keep restarting the dryer. They sent a tech to replace and exactly when it fell out of warranty the sensor stopped working again.

•We recommend not placing any heavy or sharp objects or a detergent container on the dryer. They can scratch or damage the top cover of the dryer.
• The dryer has a high-gloss finish on the entire surface. Be careful not to scratch or damage the surface

If your laundry isn't coming out fully dry, a dirty moisture sensor could be the cause, particularly if you're using an automatic drying cycle. The moisture sensor bars work by reading a current that is created when the bars get wet from the wet clothes in the dryer. Please check this video for details.

We had to pay extra out to the delivery guy and it was kind of shady. We also had to wait an extra week in order to use our dryer which all could have been avoided if the salesperson at the store would have told us or known about this.
