Since that time, my dryer has been repaired three times (5/14, 5/29, scheduled repair on 7/26). I replaced a 10 year old set that we had zero problems with, but wanted to avoid issues down the road. We have a growing family so the additional features of this set, particularly the dryer, fit the bill. Needless to say this has turned out to be a catastrophic mistake. Samsung has refused to acknowledge the unit is a lemon and is making us complete a third repair in two months. Momma isn't happy. Daddy isn't happy and the kids aren't happy when you can't do laundry. I'm glad to see other individuals have had some success with their units, but frankly I wouldn't gamble this much money on a machine that, once out of warranty, will be a complete liability down the road. You can do better and you owe it to you and your family to make sure what you are putting in your home is backed by an manufacturer that will stand behind their product accordingly.

Basically all clothing is Tumble Dry Low, which means the only way to dry them without ruining them is to use Timed Dry. My last dryer, also a Samsun, was about $1000 cheaper, actually dried clothes, and let me set the temperature. All I will ever be able to use this pile of junk for is with Timed Dry, which is garbage. Maybe it'll be 40 minutes. maybe 60, or 80. Who knows, so I have to babysit the dryer. It's 2021, who wants to pay thousands of dollars for something you have to manually check when you can get better value for far cheaper. Going to look into the return options to get a decent dryer for a fraction of the cost.
