Piece of Junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.At first the dryer worked well although I rarely used it preferring to line dry. Now I can honestly say it's a piece of junk and I will never buy Samsung again. I started to use it on a regular basis only to find my clothes had tiny holes in them when I removed them from the dryer. On closer inspection (sticking my head into the dryer with a flashlight) I saw a hole in the drum with a sharp piece of metal protruding out. Calling the service line was a complete waste of time, three reps later who asked for photos which I sent but got no reply. Decided to schedule a service call only to be told it would cost $140, plus a new drum and other parts. Decided to junk this machine and buy another brand which hurts because this dryer is only 4 years old and has no more than 50 hours running time.
