Great for small spaces, no noise, look great in a small house

This dryer ran for less than two years and then had an electrical problem at the plate where the electrical wires meet the power cord. The inside wire melted and became disconnected from the connection plate. Glad there wasn't a fire.

I love my dryer it dry’s quick and there are no wrinkles.

Works well on normal clothes BUT, if you are drying a large blanket, you must use the time dry option or it will get hot and instantly shut off within 3 minutes.

Not good, returned the dryer the day it was installed as the drum was clearly rubbing against the side wall of the unit and noisy. Upon inspection the sheet metal of the dryer didn’t line up on the front of the unit and was noticeably unbalanced on the sides, which I’m sure was a factor in the noisy function. Not sure how the unit passed any type of QC inspection at the factory. Very happy with the Whirlpool unit which replaced the Samsung.

Although the dryer occasionally takes longer with heavier loads and the cost is somewhat elevated, the overall effectiveness and quality of the machines justify the expense. I wholeheartedly recommend this washer and dryer set to anyone considering an upgrade for their laundry needs.

Timing of the demise of our old, faithful dryer (an Amanda that lasted over 20 years) just before Christmas wasn’t great, but at least the dryer is the appropriate complement to the Samsung washer we bought a year ago.
