Heating element failed in less than 2 years

JUNK that won’t even dry your clothes!!!!

My clothes are never dry when I take them out. The stupid seansor for some reason always thinks they are dry and cuts off. They are damp and end up smelling because of this piece of crap. I am now posting this junk on fb marketplace so I can actually get something that drys my things!!!

So far it is working much better than the 30 year old drier it replaced. There is one "ding" on the back of the unit that appeared to be rubbing on the drum mechanism, but using my handy-dandy dent puller, I was able to pull put the chassis back it a square condition and relieved the rubbing on the drum - WORKS GREAT!

Great dryer, annoying signal.

The only thing that stopped me giving it 5 stars is the very annoying tune it plays when the load is dry. I turned that off immediately when i heard it. A simple double or triple beep is sufficient!

Good dryer, but "stackable" is a reach

Our developed an issue after 3 years and we were informed that, by stacking it, no service technician would work on it without us having to pay for installation. We bought the Best Buy stacking kit, and had the dryer installed by Best Buy, but it is considered "incorrectly installed" so take the "stackable" description with a grain of salt. The dryer is fine, but I do not recommend stacking it.

Especially when using the wrinkle setting. Its quiet and dry the clothes fast Comforters come out dry and with some Downy fabric sheets and tide soft and smelling amazing. I ppurchased the pair on black Friday for 120 off each of them. So happy I did.

The washer has worked well from the beginning, but the dryer had to be replaced-- it would not heat, whatsoever, even though it was straight out of the box! Once I got through to Best Buy's return claims dept., everything went well, from ordering the exchange and getting the dryer swapped out for the well- functioning one we now have. The representatives in the exchanges dept. and the techs who diagnosed the problem and made the exchange were also all very pleasant and helpful. All's well now, after that *very* bumpy start (hence, not the higher rating).

The lint vent is a little harder to clean out completely. The design could be better to get all of the debris. Otherwise it's a good dryer and good price compared to other brands.

However Samsung never seems to fail. Works perfectly. I love all of the modern touches, and wifi components that make laundry a little easier.
