It seems like the cycles are longer and take more time than my previous machine. Also have to get used to the on/off switch. On my previous machine a simple turn of the control knob turned on the machine. I have barely had the dryer one month, so I might give a different review once I get used to it. Generally speaking it does a nice job of drying.

The only complaint is that there is no way to program a button to run a cycle exactly the way we want, e.g. normal cycle but with cold water. Every time we would need to turn it on, switch to normal cycle, then change to cold water.

There is no comparison between it and my 2 year old Frigidaire dryer. The dryer is very quiet and efficient. It dried the load quickly without having to use a high heat setting. Clothes were not wrinkled and lint removal was easy I would definitely recommend purchasing it.
