    It generally works and seems well-built. The usability leaves a lot to be desired. The rungs on the inside are not long enough to get a good tumble. Sheets roll up into a hard ball and bang around inside. You have to open the dryer every 10 minutes and shake them out. Lint trap design is terrible. Tough to open, tough to remember HOW to open, weird non-intuitive design always has me trying to put it back in backwards. I've used this dryer probably 50+ times now and every single time I have to remember how to open the lint trap to clean, and then which way to put it back in, like its the first time. I'm a pretty smart guy. It's just bad design. Oh, the tones and jingles that you cannot disable. You can't even modify the settings while it's running. Want to turn the heat up or down? Adjust the time? Nope. You have to turn it off (plays annoying shutdown jingle), then turn it back on (plays annoying startup jingle), then you have select all your settings again. This unit is in a house I am renting and I will never, ever, ever buy a Samsung dryer for my home (nor a fridge or washer, all of which are Samsung in here). I'm not sure I'd buy digital appliances period without thoroughly researching the software first. At the very least I should be able to disable ALL tones on the thing.

However, you should also refer to the care instructions provided by the manufacturer of your comforters, duvets, and pillows for the best results. Though it's more expensive, you may want to consider having your comforter or duvet dry cleaned.

    How disappointing is it to use the new washer you spent so much on just for it to it to not work and per it’s first use it physically jumps around your laundry room and shakes so hard you can feel it in the few rooms over, and guess what it’s back ordered now so if we were to get same ones it’ll take even longer to get here. the customer service is “closed” when i call this is so upsetting save yourself the money and time like i am on trying to get this all sorted out and do not buy it, A. from here and B. at all

      We recommend using the "Wrinkle Prevent" cycle, which provides approximately 180 minutes of intermittent tumbling in unheated air at the end of the drying cycle to help reduce wrinkles.

      If clothes are still wrinkled after the "Wrinkle Prevent" cycle, please refer to page 46 under "Items still wrinkled after Wrinkle Prevent (Wrinkle Away, Wrinkle Release)" for steps to help.

    Horrible! Do not buy!!

    Do not buy Samsung washer and dryer from Best Buy. We have had nothing but problems. We bought original ones middle of May. They were both supposed to be delivered same day. Appointment was set and day of delivery only 1 came. Had to wait a week for the other. The dryer that arrived came damaged. It was all bent and dented. We called and had to have a new one sent out (more time waiting). The original washer that came was broken, when it cycled, the machine walked itself across my floor almost 5 feet! It shook violently! Had to call and get a new washer sent out. We've had them for 5 months. Yesterday the dryer was working fine in the morning and then last night it wouldn't even power on!! Nothing is made well anymore! You spend a LOT of money on something and it breaks within the first 6 months. Uncalled for! I've been on the phone now for almost 2 hours with Best buy. Can't understand any of the reps and they can't understand me! My only option is to have a refund started and then come pick up the old ones. In the meantime I don't have a dryer for my clothes. I have to wait an undisclosed amount of time for the refund to process to my best buy card before I can purchase another Brand (I do not want this same brand!) This is a nightmare!

    Can only use ONE setting. Not worth it.

    Yes it dries, but DO NOT GET THIS. Find a nonsmart dryer. I can only use the timed dry setting because every other setting has the dryer shut off after 5 minutes exactly no matter what setting you have it on or how you finagle the setting. It's absolutely frustrating. Imagine having 12 settings and you can only use JUST ONE. It was a waste of money. I've had it for three years. Just buy a better stackable.

    RUN FAR AWAY FROM SAMSUNG! Horrible Dryer

    RUN far far away from Samsung washers and dryers! I bought this dryer in November of 2020, had to spend $200 to replace the heating element in 2022, and now it gives me dc and c3 error messages and beeps nonstop. I don't even want to repair it again because I think it is a piece of hot garbage that isn't worth the time or money to repair. Not only that, but when it was functioning properly it would signal that clothes were dry when in fact, they were not. So, i had to set the time dry rather than using the sensors. Do yourself a favor and buy literally ANY other brand.

    Be aware of issue with cracked drum!

    I purchased a previous model of this dryer three years ago. A huge crack was found at the back of the drum. It might have been there for a long time, as it was hidden all the way in the back. Long story short, I contacted Samsung CS and was told there was nothing they would be responsible for after one year. However, I soon discovered by a google search that cracked drum is a very common problem with Samsung dryer, not just for this model.     Won’t dry clothes

    The sensor thinks the clothes are dry. D keeps tuening the dryer off, I check the clothes still damp. I switch to manual timed dry 50 minutes still damp. I switched to a small load.. the dryer is just not getting hot enough.. I love the matching washer just the dryer is driving me crazy

    Lousy Customer Service. Unable to speak to Team Member on floor to ask question on a Dryer purchased. 2nd Purchase within a week. Next time will buy elsewhere where I can speak to someone on floor if needed. Product decent.

    Dryer stopped working after 3 weeks of use contacted best buy corporate they informed me i could resturn it to store for a new one, store manager at the saratoga springs location was not helpful.
