The manual says this feature takes longer than some of the other drying choices but uses less power. When it starts, it shows the time it's going to take as 116. However, I use this cycle for almost every load, and it has never taken that long, and the clothes have always been thoroughly dry (it usually takes about 45 minutes, sometimes less).

Now after 18 months, the heat won’t come on unless I unplug it and reboot the control board. Then it may work a cycle or 2, then nothing.
