I appreciate the modern lights and buttons of this unit, but in the end it still takes about 30% longer to dry a load of laundry compared to my old unit. When I go to dry my comforter, using maximum heat and the maximum time, I still have to go and run the dryer for another 30 minutes or so to get it dry. I haven't used any other newer dryers to compare their ability to generate heat so It's very hard to say if I would recommend this unit over another.
