I have a second house and bought this Samsung model for it last fall. Then when my dryer in my main residence broke down, I decided to get another of the same model. Both work well, look fine if not snazzy, and fit a good amount of laundry. I like that you can use preset cycles but still customize them by adding or subtracting minutes from the cycle. The one thing I'm not crazy about is the design of the lint catcher. It is hard to open to get the lint out. But that's not a big deal, just an annoyance. This model dryer is worth the price.

The dryer works very efficiently and can handle large loads of clothes. The setting allow for custom cycles but are not confusing or over complicated.

Purchased the washer and dryer pair to replace aging units and these are quieter and much more power efficient.

This is a good dryer at a competitive price point. I have owned the Samsung dryers & washers in the past and have found the quality to be average at best. I wanted to have a dryer that marched my washer so I purchased this model. I’m not a big fan of the product quality recognize it’s difficult for me to compare to other models as I have had a few Samsung’s in the last decade in an effort to keep a matching washer dryer set.

The dryer is great! It has lots of settings, huge capacity and is energy efficient! It does a great job!

Bigger capacity dryer, gets more done faster. Like the moisture sensor, I guess it must be increasing decreasing drying time as per dryness.

Bought this dryer sight unseen based on reviews only. It is HUGE! Thankfully we had the space to accommodate it, but be sure to measure as these appliances are bigger than you mother's were. So far so good, it dries the clothes just fine, I can do less laundry since it and it's matching washer fit so much more. I am also a fan of the music it plays when it turns on and the blue lights - although that could get old after a while I guess.

Overall, a good machine. We mostly use the drying sensor so that we don't have to guess how long to set the dryer to run. However, this usually results in unpredictable drying times, and since the sensor seems to be located in one area, as the load turns the sensor appears to recalibrate the time. So the panel can say 6 minutes, then you turn around and it says 30. For very dense objects like pillows, the machine might think that the item is dry when it is only dry on the surface, so do your own hand-check before taking it out.

Got these on sale and I'm very happy with them. They are not the top of the line but they work great for someone shopping on a budget.

Upgrading from an old Admiral top load washer and dryer to a new front loading Samsung washer and dryer is like buying a swanky new car. These machines are so silent that you will not hear them working hard. The old one was so noisy that you can hear them from miles away. The new Samsung have touch controls, alarms to let you know once washing or drying is completed, separate cycles for different types of work loads. Overall very much satisfied
