    Dead Dryer on Delivery

    The dryer never worked. The installers hooked up the washer and dryer and when they noticed the dryer did not work, they told me to get an electrician to check the plug. I had previously had this checked prior to delivery of the appliances but called out for the electrical plug to be serviced. I was told that the 220 and 110 outlets were in working order that the problem was in fact the dryer. It has been a nightmare to get Best Buy to come and pickup the defective dryer and refund my money. Two weeks and still waiting for this purchase to be refunded. I am unable to purchase new appliance until the "pickup" and paperwork are completed.

    So far this has been a great dryer. Have not owned it very long,(only about a month so far). but it dries everything so quickly.

    Bought brand new for no worries!! Joke is on me

    Well I bought new so I wouldn't have to worry about it breaking for a while. I bought this Samsung dryer and have had it for 17 days and it stopped heating, that's 3 days past the 14 day return. And called Samsung because it has a 1 year warranty, but no help from them either. So here I am 17 days in and already have to pay out of pocket for something I just paid almost $1,000 for. I know one thing is for sure I spent over $4,000 on appliances for my home from Best Buy a little over 2 weeks ago, and they won't ever get another penny from me again. I waited on hold for 40 minutes just for them to tell me they can't help me i'm 3 days over the exchange period.

    When this thing is done it sings for a solid like 5 minutes loudly and the owners manual does not do a good job explaining how to turn it off. Otherwise I love it

    Wash well but the rubber seal stinks still after 3weeks. I also can’t get it to connect the smart feature. It’s great at washing clothes though so I can’t complain about that.

    Purchased washer/dryer set in July 2016. In October 2018 original dryer belt tension pulley bearing froze up. Bought new pulley assembly & belt. When replacing pulley & belt noticed that 2 of the 4 drum support rollers had frozen bearings. Replaced all 4 support rollers. Cost of parts over $200. Replacement belt tension pulley failed within 60 days. Purchased a new replacement dryer instead of more parts as cost of parts approaching price of new dyer. Will use originally purchased dryer for parts. Washer seems to be performing well. If this were not the case would have replaced set with another brand. Samsung has definite quality issues with their bearing supplier. Common issue per the internet. In 45 years of owning dryers have never experienced such poor quality in bearings.

    I Purchased this dryer in January. In July 18, 2020. it has an error code of HE. Went online and set up an appointment through samsung website for repair on Thursday 7/23/20. Tekniton calls me on 7/21/20 and tells me that they can service this until 7/29/20, 11 days later. I call Samsung and they tell me they up to 14 days to repair my dryer. I tell them that is unacceptable and they pretty much say sorry nothing i can do I ask for a manager and she connects me back to Tekniton. I tell them this is still unacceptable. She says sorry nothing I can do. Back to Samsung in Charlotte NC they are the only company that can service Samsung. Where am I 3 hours later. I put a claim in with my home warranty company. I will never recommend or purchase another samsung product.

    Worked Great - BUTTTT it's already not heating

    This dryer worked great initially. We've had it 30 days and it quit "heating" completely. We have called Samsung to get service which takes a week -- without a dryer. We have yet to see the repair person, but can't imagine this is a good product if it's already not working after 30 days. I'm ready to move back to the old standard type washer/dryers again.

    The unit was purchased with the washer and I had it as a stackable unit as that was what could have fit in my space. It ended up being really tall to reach the buttons.

    In the first 24 month's of ownership, this dryer has had one failed sleeve bearing (replaced with a roller bearing) on the drum, and a failed heating element. Appliances used to be more reliable than this - but perhaps (?) this is just a lemon? I likely won't look to Samsung next time for a washer/dryer.

    This dryer has been 'ok' so far. Although, it seems to have some issues as far as sensing how dry things are and it's seems to tangle ALOT of blankets while drying.
