    Dryer great, install crew was minus 3,000 stars

    Not sure I want to waste my time typing this. The install crew came four times. First two, refusing to do the install. Third time, installed but didn’t level. I asked them to and he said ok, went down to the truck and left with the front door wide open. My dog got out and it took me an hour to find him. Fourth install, they said the third install was the worst they’d ever seen and it was lucky I didn’t use it. Finally, I had a plumber at my house a week later and asked him to inspect. He said the fourth install was the worst he had ever seen. He finally fixed it. Honestly, one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had.

    Worst quality appliance I've ever owned

    We've had this for not even 1.5 years and starting right over the year mark (literally the day after our warranty ended!) this thing has been nothing but trouble. It had belt issues, we got that fixed, then the drum began cracking. There is now a giant crack in the drum for no apparent reason and our clothes keep catching on it and tearing, so we are forced to buy a new dryer. Because our warranty is expired, neither Samsung nor Best Buy will do anything, despite this dryer being so new. We haven't overloaded it and have treated it carefully, yet it's falling apart. Absolutely awful quality and a huge headache.

    Drys well, but the lint trap is HORRIBLE to empty! If I had noticed it, I would have made other choice.

    Worked ok for about 6 months then stopped heating

    Contacted samsung and they send a service guy to fix it. It got fixed but now making loud humming/buzzing noise.

    Our washer and dryer set had died and needed a replacement ASAP. We did some looking around and this set was the best deal. We couldn't wait 2 weeks for it to be delivered and installed so I picked the set up and installed it myself. Once installed I switched the dryer door to make it easier to transfer clothes. About a month and a half after this the dryer stopped working, gave an error about the door not being shut. Eventually we moved the door back to the original position and it worked fine. I contacted Samsung and they would not do anything about it since we did not have it professionally installed. I contacted Best Buy and they wouldn't either since it was passed 15 days since we purchased it. The door has a little play in it now so when it stops working we will have to pay to have it fixed. Not once was offered or told that I should have them installed professionally. I believe it's a good product but the customer service on both ends is horrible!

    Bought this on Nov 2014. Worked great till 2017. 1st Sensor dry didn't work and we used the timer option.. Since 1 yr with timer option at 1 min remaining, it never stops.. Keep on running.. We setup alarm to stop the dryer manually.. On the mkt for non samsung product. Do not buy!

    Bought 10/2018 broken 4/2020 18 months then trash

    I bought this and the matching washer set in 10/2018 from Bestbuy.com, had them professionally installed with Best Buy and, Best Buy was great but, the product is garbage. The washers balancer went out and, the control board on the dryer went out. This is owned by two adults, never over loaded or anything crazy done to it. To look at this set, they look brand new but, try to use them and you would think I paid $130 for the set, not $1350. Do yourself a favor and buy the cheap machines and throw them away after a year. When researching this issue with the washer/dryer set, it seems a common issue. Most peoples fails sooner but, as I said, these are owned by two adults and we've maybe ran 70 loads (maximum) through these machines.
