We bought this dryer on clearance as a returned item. Lady just wanted a bigger washer, so she returned the set. We love it. We don't have a lot of room and the ability to stack helped us save some space. It has a decent dry time and is quite roomy. Very quiet running until the end when it sings, but if that annoys you, you have the option to turn off sound. Easy to understand.

I live my new Samsung dryer. It's smart and it has more features on it than I need, but are great to have if I need to use them. I love the wrinkle-release feature/cycle. My clothes come out fresh and smelling great. The moisture sensor is wonderful as it will shut the dryer down when it senses all moisture has been removed from your clothing to save energy and over drying your clothes. I love the chime that alerts me that my laundry is just about done. The machine is quite and will not disturb a kid sleeping or interrupt you if you are entertaining friends. I would highly recommend this dryer. I purchased my as a open box at Best Buy and got it at a great price. I would highly recommend a protection plan or warranty as most major appliances seem to have really cheap parts no matter the price. Replacement parts are quite expensive.

I like this little dryer, I bought it along with a similar Samsung washer. The washer was easy to set and I didn't adjust anything. I threw a load in to dry it and while folding noticed that my jeans were still a little damp, ohhh clammy! So back in they went. I played with the settings a little bit as I found sensor dry to do this just about every time. The trick for me was to adjust the "Dry Level" up a notch, this adds about the required 10-15 or so minutes to finish drying. Once I did that it was great, and I've been happy with it after I discovered that. It drys things, and seams to work well. I've had no issues with it after the little learning curve. I'd probably recommend for them to adjust that for a little higher altitude like we have here but you can easily adjust it however you want and not bring up the temp to shrink clothes. It plays a fun little song when its done. The lint trap works well, and its easy to empty once you figure out that you can unfold it and clean it. Its got some good options for time and sensor dry and the sensor drys defaults gets you pretty close on most loads. The mixed loads is where it seems to leave the heavier stuff a little damp, so again just keeping that in mind and bumping up the dry level setting a notch does the trick. The wrinkle prevent feature is also kinda cool. It keeps things spinning for a bit and spins them on occasion until you come rescue your clothes from it when its done. This was set up to be on by default so if you do it while sleeping or away, maybe turn that off. Its also quite large. A good amount of clothes fit in there and it handles bedding and stuff with no problem.

I have got this dryer for three months and don't have any issue. It's the right capacity and easy enough to use. I like the anti-wrinkle feature.

I have owned this dryer for about 4 months. Dryer works great!! Quiet, efficient, dries clothes without over drying due to moisture sensor. As a result, dries much faster than my old dryer. Debated between this model and a more expensive Samsung. Very happy with this model and did not feel that the steam drying functions, dryer rack and stainless steel drum were worth the extra $200-$500. Highly recommend, especially since I was able to get it on-sale at Best Buy for less than $500!!

Received this dryer (and matching washer) two days ago. First impression when I opened the dryer door: "Ooooh I have a light!" Yes, the dryer has a light. Maybe they all do, but I noticed this one because it is stacked at eye level. I have used it for 10 loads, varying from clothes, bed throw pillows, and king sized comforters/sheets. Everything has come out great. No weird smells, I am extremely satisfied with both the washer and this dryer. Word to the wise: I am 5'6" tall. I have my units stacked WITHOUT a pedestal. I cannot see the cycle selection on my dryer without a step stool. I can see the cycles, but the little indicator light that shows which cycle you're on (around the cycle knob). It's too high. I keep the dryer on the 30 minute quick dry cycle for regular loads and just hit the start button. For bedding I use the step stool to select a setting accordingly. I still would not un-stack them and this is certainly not a reflection on the dryer's ability to do an outstanding job.

I bought a complete set, washer and dryer combo. Best purchase I ever made. I love them. I have had them since 2018. I have never had one problem at all out of my set. I loved them so much I purchased another set to match my decor at my other house. Purchased them in 2018 as well and no problems with either of them as well.

This Dryer works awesome, so quiet and very easy to use.

This review is not about the performance of the washer/dryer, which is actually very good. This review is about Samsung customer service, or that of their official 3rd party repair companies, which for all intents and purposes are an extension of Samsung. Our units are only 2 months old and we had what we believe to be a bad sensor based on my call with Samsung. I've actually been able to rectify the problem since our call and believe we have fixed the unit without having to disassemble anything. Fact is, it was basically a user error. Our bad. However, upon scheduling the service call they informed me that I would have to unstack the units and put the units back up and that they would not do this. Two months ago I purchased a new Samsung Washer, Dryer and Stack kit. I had the unit professionally installed by Best Buy. Yet, when it comes time to do a repair, under Samsung warranty, I am responsible for unstacking and stacking the unit. To be clear, I did not purchase Geek Squad protection. Why should I if it is a decent product? The issue is with Samsung. First, everything I did from buying their product to their professional installation, should be covered under warranty. Second, this is akin to buying four new tires, finding out one is defective and the tire company saying "sure we will replace the defective tire(s) but you need to jack the car up yourself". No. I paid for what should be a good product and professional installation. Samsung makes stackable units. They sell official stack kits. They agree to have their authorized retailers (Best Buy) install them. The warranty should include full servicing including the unstacking and stacking of the units. Third, what would happen if I did unstack them and stack them back and an unrelated issue happened later. Seriously, who do you think Samsung would say is at fault if one of the reasons could be the unit having been disassembled, unstacked, stacked again and then reassembled? If they don't contract with a company that stacks/unstacks then you should sure bet they would say it was on you regardless. If you're going to leave the unit side by side, then go for it. However, if you are going to stack, please avoid going with any Samsung washer/dryer.

I absolutely love this dryer. It dries everything efficiently and quickly. The moisture sensor actually works! My last dryer was a Kenmore and the moisture sensor never worked properly. It would run for hours and never get anything dry.

very nice looking and high end dryer. very simple to use and has many features. doesnt seem to take long to dry a load. this along with the washer as a set, im able to do alot of laundry in a very short amount of time.

I didn't have great experiences trying to actuality get my dryer after i purchased it and now after after the problems ive had with it i think it might have been a sign! It wasn't entirely Best Buys fault my order was delayed, as i purchased my dryer 2 weeks before Hurricane Florence decided to come to town,southeastern NC and run amock! But had they not canceled their original scheduled delivery and install date, the following problems with me getting my dryer could have been avoided. I ended up not getting my dryer until November when i finally got fed up with appointments being rescheduled and asked them to find me a store that was open with my dryer in stock that i could just go pick it up myself and i went to Myrtle Beach and got it! Id had enough hauling my laundry back and forth to work to dry all my clothes in a dryer used for dog towels! So moving forward, a year later in 2019 my dryer stopped drying and we had to wait several weeks for a Geek Squad appointment to have the heater replaced. Again this should have been a clue that my less than a year old dryer wasn't as amazing as my previous Samsung front load that had lasted forever without one problem! And.we bought that set open box! Anyhow now, 2021, its starting to not dry loads fully and sometimes taking 2 or 3 cycles to fully dry jeans and towels and most definitely our blankets for our beds takes multiple times! Im fed up and ready to replace this headache!

Great dryer. I like the lint filter because it is doubled up and provides better filtering. It also has a door that opens and closes when you pull filter out so that nothing can fall in case you forget to put it back. Like the LED light inside. The only thing is that I have mine double stacked with washer and the display is angled up and display is around 6.5 to 7 ft. high and it is hard to see what your settings are set too. I am 5'11" and have trouble my wife is 4'5" lol hunny come set dryer. every time. Great if they are side by side though because the angle would help see like the washer because it is on bottom.

This dryer works exactly as it should, is attractive, and I would say is on-par with some more expensive dryers in terms of features.

I love it so dries up my clothes better than what I previously had uses less energy. It looks very beautiful and works well.

4 years old now and still works great. Not much else to say. I use it every week.

I love that I can make my own dry cycles. It has so many options for drying as well and is very efficient.
