    Broken in under 2yrs

    Dryer stopped heating. Failure of the heating element thermostat 1yr10m after install, and of course out-of-warranty (1yr). $240 repair on a $630 dryer that is under 2yrs old. Unacceptable.

    Drying Sensor doesn’t work

    You have to dry on a timed dry, because all the other settings use the dry sensor. It doesn’t sense correctly, so everything is still wet.

And I want to apologize if everything is still wet after using the dryer. If your dryer is heating but the clothes are still damp, your vent is probably blocked. If your dryer has weak heat and runs for a long time, that could also be a blocked vent. And if your dryer ends after only a couple of minutes with soaking wet clothes, your moisture sensors could be dirty. And these are only some of the possible causes.

    Worse product I ever bought

    The heating element did not last 15 months. Found multiple similar complaints online. I don't know why Best Buy continues to sell these inferior quality products

    Panel board bad in less than 3 years, cost $265 in repairs including the $100 part! Terrible quality, very disappointing.

    Terrible Dryer

    Disappointed Samsung Product consumer

    This dryer has done nothing but give me problems after the first 2 years. I have replaced the heating element 5 times in the last 18 months and it keeps shorting out. This past time it melted wires. I repaired it and 5 days later it went out again. I am a Samsung buyer. I have a washer, refrigerator, and 3 TV's made by Samsung but this dryer has been a complete nightmare and disappointment.

    Never buy this product. Extremely flimsy design of plastic parts which will fail in 2- 3 years. 3 years after I bought it needed a Part/Belt tensioner assembly - $95.00 + labor $375.00 = $445.00. Now, six months later needs the same part replaced - Belt Tensioner assembly Sumsung Dryer, Model No DV42H5000EW/A3

    Worst appliance I have ever owned

    This dryer has blown thermal fuses over and over again. My family has replaced dozens of small parts on this dryer over the past 4 years. I have all Samsung appliances in my home and will be moving on from the company and best buy because of the terrible ongoing ordeal we have had with this dryer. Great for the first year but be prepared to pay out to get it repaired over and over. Customer service is out of country and useless.
