Do not buy. Motor went out in 2years. Also sometimes it doesn’t dry completely

Dryer died after 2 weeks. Will not power up. Geek squad is coming out - will update review with resolution.

have had this dryer for almost 5 years now, and paid full price for it. I have not had any issues with it and highly recommend it.

This machine has noticeably lowered my electric bill from my 15 year old previous unit. Dry times are precise and large items are dried without needed multiple cycle run times. The stainless interior with the LED lighting are very premium. The stainless steel drum holds heat better than porcelain and requires less energy to keep the clothes at the desired temperature to dry them. Highly recommend this unit!!

Samsung outdid themselves with this electric dryer with steam and sensor dry. Clothes come out crisp, wrinkle free and dry like they were taken to Dry cleaners.

We’ve had it for a few years and never had problems with it. It’s survived a couple moves and still works great

We purchased this dryer and the matching washer brand new in August of 2016 and have had to repair this set four times in 3 1/2 years (washer once and dryer three times). Unreal. Regarding the dryer - The idler pulley system broke shortly after the three year mark. Husband purchased a replacement part and fixed it himself. A few months later, the idler pulley belt came off the drum completely. Awesome. Husband puts it back on. Two months later (today), the idler belt comes off AGAIN. I literally want to take this dryer to the dump. I want to get rid of it but feel bad selling it to someone. It's horrible. I will never, ever, ever buy Samsung products again. We have an LG washer/dryer in our rental unit (about the same age as our Samsung set) and not one single issue. Not one. I will ONLY buy LG from now on. Oh and the matching washer had a leaky door that had to get fixed (luckily it was still under warranty) just a few months after we purchased it. Please stay away from Samsung!

I had a maytag epic z that finally quit on me after 15 years so I thought I'll get a Samsung with all the bells and whistles. Well I hate it. Here are my list of cons: --You can not adjust the sound so you can't hear when the dryer goes off. --App doesn't notify you that the dryer is done --It ROLLS your blankets, towels any bulky item up tighter than a burrito..you have to remove it, unroll it and put it back in to get it dried, I did try dryer balls, nope didn't work --I have had this dryer 4 years and 2 months and the heating element went out. I am just going to buy a different dryer, a GE to match my washer which I LOVE. To be fair here are the Pros: --Extra large capacity will hold a king size comforter but this doesn't do much good if you have to unroll it and put it back in to finish drying. --Love the LED lighting

Make sure to get extended warranty if you decide to purchase this Samsung Dryer. We have this model and the Dryer drum cracked causing about a $300 repair. That was for the part only, so service will be another $100-200. Serviceman said he has seen same issue practically across the board on Samsung Dryers. That is why Samsung only offers a 1 year Warranty. Very disappointed investing so much money into a dryer that can only stand up to a couple years of use.

Purchased a washer/dryer pair. After 30 days the dryer was dead. THIS IS A LEMON! DON'T BUY! If you have the same issue, you're told to speak with Samsung customer support. No lemon exchange options unless it's DOA or breaks in the first 2 days. This is HORRIBLE customer service. I would have expected more. Called Samsung, service rep said someone would come next day. It's the next day and I don't have a service window because the service center never scheduled it. I call Samsung and got the local service center...some random mom/pop company is servicing me and said they never got the documents from Samsung...on hold for 5 min and magically they have it. Sooo, now my day old wet laundry has to wait three more days to fix an issue.

If you use any setting that uses the moisture sensor, it won't work. Your estimated time will look correct, however withon 2-5 mnutes the annoying song will play lying to you. Your load will be wet, not damp, not, less than totally sry, but wet. This is my second Samsung dryer and I must be a moron to have purchased this. My old one at least waited a year or so to stop sensing moisture, this one started right out of the gate as an overpriced piece of junk. Calling to get it fixed / replaced tomorrow morning. Do Not Buy
