I can't just let it automatically finish when dry on specific fabrics because the heat setting on normal is too hot.

It worked well for the first year but now it acts up, and of course it's out of basic warranty. One of the downsides with digital products is they can tweak out intermittently being controlled off a chip. Two major issues. (1) Ours seems to have an issue with the start/stop control. Once in awhile it won't stop running or power off, no matter what. You can unplug it and plug it back in, and it keeps running forever. Can't change modes, can't reset, nothing. Only way to stop it is to leave the door open. Then after a day or two it works fine again. (2) Now the other issue is it doesn't always start when pressing 'start' ... powers on okay, mode selections work, door is securely closed, lint holder is in firmly, press start and nothing happens. Again, unplug, plug back in, no change, but wait a day and things are back to normal. Uggh! On a side note, also wish dryers would reverse direction in the middle of a cycle to lessen the chance of things getting tangled up in larger items like sheets, all dryers should do this, just like a front load washer does.
