I installed the dryer myself (on separately purchased pedestal) and was immediately impressed with the quick dry time! It helps to have the matching washer that sucks a ton of water out of your clothes before they even go in the dryer. I haven't used the steam feature yet (I doubt if I ever will) but I'm quite happy with the simple options.

Benefits for me personally; having the controls on the front of the machine as I have a water heater over one of the machines, front loading so I don’t have to hang over the edge to get all the laundry from the drum. The color is nice, I picked it based on availability not out of desire to have a bougie washer/dryer setup.

Waiting for mfg to arrange a repair or replacement. I like the large capacity on this because things dry faster with plenty of air in there.
