    It was time for a new dryer and so far we are very much enjoying this samsung dryer purchase with all its options. We also purchased the pedestal for it, which I highly recommend as it cuts out all the bending down while folding clothes hot from the dryer!

    Both washer and dryer are working great, they are replacements of our other 10+ yr-old samsung washer/dryer. The only complain I have on the dryer is i can't adjust the music/sound to play louder so i can hear it when dryer is done, which volume adjustment is available on the washer.

    This Samsung dryer CANNOT turn off all the sounds...You have the option to turn off the end of cycle signal- which let me tell you- it is LONG and annoying. But the regular sounds when selecting your cycle or even when turning on or off- you cannot adjust the volume or turn it off like I could on my old LG dryer. I called Samsung and they verified you could not. Since the dryers are not plugged in in the store I did not know this. It will now be returned as sometimes I have to do laundry very early or very late depending on my schedule. I only did one load, so I have no opinion of the drying, just that noise which would wake up my entire house.
