Great dryer

It's beautifully designed and has tons of great features, that you'll actually use! It's spacious and quiet, I'm so glad that I decided to buy this dryer! It has a clear, easy to read screen. It is simple to use, as well- so if you have kids, you can feel good about them being able to help with the laundry! I would highly recommend checking it out. It's affordable, great quality, durable, and well made all the way around.

I have been washing/drying clothes for a long time and have never had a dryer ball up clothes like this one does -- takes forever to dry sheets and towels, in particular. It has turned into one huge annoyance as the dryer requires constant monitoring. Put me off of ever getting another Samsung appliance.

I feel a strong sense of regret every time I use it. Sorry Samsung, but you really let me down on this one.

Samsung electric dryer

this dryer went smoking dead

First came this low pitch terrifying rumbling noise, then a white gray thick and suffocating smoke came out of back, from inside the dryer. The burning rubber or tire smell was still present in the house 24 hours later. Purchase of this dryer/washer pair is worse than we ever dreamed of. We thought the matching vibrating & walking washer was so terrible (model WF45R6100AW/US - see my review for the washer), this dryer is the worst.

Horrible product, buyer beware

We contacted repair for service, and were advised that the master control unit is out. We have been waiting on this part since the first week of September and we’re just told it will not be available until late December. I will NEVER PURCHASE another Samsung appliance - this is absurd.

Get ready to fix it within 3 years

It’s not a simple change either - hours of disassembling the panels off the front & waiting on a part to come in. As a mom, not an ideal situation. Won’t cheap out again and go with Samsung.

Garbage

Ridiculously overpriced plastic junk. Heating element went out after 2 years. Our LG washer and dryer lasted over 15 years. To make matters worse, when we called to have it serviced, via the warranty plan we purchased with the items, we waited a few days for the tech to come out just to say “yep it’s a broken heating element, we’ll have to order the part and schedule an appointment to fix it.” Granted the tech was kind and professional but Geek Squad’s method of diagnostics is absolutely unsatisfactory. They could have asked more probing questions if they thought we may be mistaken about the heating element (which we weren’t) and had the part on hand to fix our dryer on the first visit. We have a family of 5 and can’t wait another week to do laundry. Geek Squad you can do better. I’ll be rethinking any future purchases or warranties with Best Buy and never again with Samsung.

Installation Flooded Room - No Contact options

Noone answers the customer service phones, chat never helps, and no access to delivery or service persons. Installers hooked up the dryer but also knocked the washer drain pipe out of the drainage pipe. Floor flooded when the washer was emptying. We were not able to lift the machine out to fix the drain connection. No way to contact service for immediate fix. Terrible customer service and extreme error on installers part. Very disappointed. No reason to buy from Best Buy when many other options available. Big mistake on my part!

This dryer was bought in 2018 and already Im having problems with it. The dryer won't shut off. From reading the internet about this problem, a lot more people have the same complaint. Its a Power Control Board problem. Dryers should last a lot longer then 2 years. I do not recommend any dryer from Samsung. I also talked to Samsung and they don't seem to care about fixing this faulty product problem. Beware!
