When we got our dryer delivered it would start but it would not get warm/hot at all. We called best buy and they sent a technician out to fix it. He said we would need a new dryer, which is what I wanted, so they came out and replaced our dryer with a new one of the same model. Then fast forward about 8 months and now the belt in it is broken so we have to get a new belt. Luckily these things have happened under the warranty period so I have not had to pay for any repairs, but overall I would definitely NOT recommend this dryer to anyone. Other that the issues I have had with it, it has been a good dryer to me but breaking twice in less that a year is absurd to me. The repair services have been easy to do and it has not been a hassle, but just do not care for this dryer personally.

I bought this to replace a worn out 20 year old unit. It was priced not to break the bank and had all of the features that the brains of this operation (NOT ME, LOL) needed. I opted for a DIY installation but the delivery guys did unbox and allow me to inspect before bringing it in. They also removed the old unit which I had ready before they arrived. It arrives without the power cord, but they are readily available at Best Buy as well as the big box hardware stores and easy to install. The leeling feet required a pair of pliers to get them moving but they are of sufficient length to level the unit on a basement floor that slopes toward the drain. The door can be switched to open left or right by removing a few screws. I also used this as an opportunity to replace the dryer vent hose. Overall, from the truck to fully operational was about 30 minutes , but I did read the instructions that came with the unit and the power cord before connecting anything. The cycles are accurate for normal use but some thicker items require additional time. The lint trap is somewhat difficult to open but easy to clean.PS - Did I mention that the wife loves it? :)

Medium household loads are fine but as little as one king blanket can overload it. The door has developed a slight leak after about two years of use but it’s not bad
