    Everything Samsung has gone to crap. We bought this and the matching washer in December of 2020. Neither functions correctly - the washer can't spin anything unless its 100% perfectly balanced. This dryer.... good lord. Is your sock slightly more damp than just damp? Good luck - it will turn on for five minutes, then ascertain through it's brilliant programming that what you are attempting to dry is actually "Dry". It's not. Also, the "Manual" setting... where it should just, you know, allow you to "manually" set a time to dry? Yeah, that also doesn't work. 1 Hour drying time, you say? Here's 3 minutes a 9 seconds. Good luck. I've bought nothing but Samsung appliances for 20 years. I'll never buy another.

    Terrible. This washer's bearings went bad after two years.... extremely loud noise in spin stage. Bearing problem verified by two repair people. The fix would have been very expensive so we bought a new one. Avoid Samsung! One repair person said Samsung washers last 2-4 years. We had normal wash loads for a small family.

    Dry sensing technology not up to par! It seems to not detect damp clothing, especially sweaters and sweat pants!

      Hi Philip! Often times, if the sensor cycles are not functioning properly, the sensors just need to be cleaned of lint. This link (https://bit.ly/37ngZXB) can walk you through how to do this, as well as other things that could be causing the dryer to not dry properly. ^Jecca Samsung

    Buyer Beware...

    We bought this washer end of Aug of 2020. It was a great price and worked fantastic until it didn't. 5 days ago it started making a clunking sound, my guess it's one of the drum/basket rollers failed. Let me point out I've used this washer FOR LESS THAN 2 YEARS. Well, not only is it out of warranty by 9 months but there are ZERO Samsung Technicians in "my area" even though there is one about 30 miles away. Then Samsung support told me to call an appliance repair shop about 1,000 miles away. Anyways I paid over $700 on a washer that I will most likely need to drop $300-$450 dollars into to get it to work again. If you're on the fence about this washer just do the math

    Not so happy with the washer, don’t know if it wasn’t installed correctly but it makes a noise when it’s washing and when it’s spinning the whole washing machine and the dryer shakes. Had to leave town and won’t be back in till July as soon as I get back will call to make an appointment so they can fix it. Thanks

    Great until it breaks

    I got this washer in October 2021 and started making noises on December 2021. Samsungs service department is AWFUL is made to discourage you from submitting a claim. After initial assessment for repair, it was switched to exchange and now Samsung won’t do exchange with e receipt. I’ve been on the phone with Samsung for at least 5 different occasions and each for at least 45 minutes. If you buy it I hope you dont have to go through the same ordeal

    Arrived dented on the bottom sides and top edge, didn't see it until we took off the styrofoam and it seemed cosmetic. When we got it hooked up it made a rubbing sound when the drum turned. Got Samsung to come out and do a warrenty repair, they said they wouldn't do anything since the dents were causing the rubbing, talked to best buy online and they gave me the run around since it was after the 15 days from order, but also took almost that long to arrive.

    Issues from day one. I've only had it for less than 4 weeks. Stops mid cycle. Sometimes it doesn't want to rinse. Sometimes it does not spin. And when it does spin, there's a grinding/ rasping noise. Which is obviously signs of a defective washer. Washer works when it wants too. I basically have to babysit this washer to see if its going to work or not. It's been a stressful few weeks since it hasn't been working as it should. A 30-45 minute cycle wash turns into a 2 hour wait. Never again. Buyer beware.

    This model is older than the new samsung dryers that are selling for 50 dollars more. Look up the model you purchase because this one doesnt come with all the bells and whistles it could have if you simply pick a different model.

    The Samsung washer is great. I just wish you could make a custom setting. It has been thru over 20 loads and I haven’t had any problems so far. Best Buy was awesome in delivering and installing this washer. They didn’t waste any time and made sure evrything was working before leaving.
