washer and dry purchase

The only downside is washing large items such as comforters or blankets. IT will need a few rounds. I need to find out if I can turn off the sensor for dry for those because it will dry for 10 mins and sense its dry because its hot, but the comforter is not dry.

Loads have been dry on single cycle on correct setting. One star removed due to outside metal denting so quickly. Previous Samsung dryer seemed more durable. Hopefully this dryer will last 5 years. No issues aside from exterior metal design.

Since the purchase of the dryer it has not worked efficiently. I have to put the clothes at least 3 times to get them dry. Then because it’s been in the dryer the clothes are left with a bad smell. I have called Samsung to request a replacement but still worried that the outcome might be the same!

I was hesitant going to another brand that isn’t Maytag. But this was well worth it. I even realized that my old Maytag wasn’t really washing my clothes properly and drying my clothes

I want to love but I only like it

It wasn’t drying properly, switched it with a shorter dryer vent using a kit I bought and I worked better. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t dryer everything perfectly, some pieces feel damp. I read up on it on the Samsung Website and they tell you to separate out the clothes. Doing a second cycle doesn’t work either since the sensor in the dryer detects that the clothes are dry and automatically turns off the dryer. It’s too bad my 12 year old LG dryer broke and no one wanted to come a fix a stackable unit.

By the time I was able to get through to Samsung customer support, the manufacturer warranty had expired, and the cost of repair was the same as buying a new one. I'm done with Samsung.

What a headache it was just to get a Samsung tech. out and I had to unstack the set for the tech. The tech took it apart, put it back together and it worked. He had no idea what the problem was but, only said it could’ve been a loose wire. I’ve lost confidence in Samsung and can only keep my fingers crossed that I didn’t get a lemon. But besides the dryer dying I will admit that I actually do love the set!
